The day May agreed to take in Sabrina was the best day of her life, the young girl finally got to experience what it was like to have a family who loved her whole-heartedly. Aunt May never lied to Sabrina about a thing, the day she moved in was the first time that someone had spoken the truth to her in a long time. Sabrina was told all about her heritage, down to the first ancestor that May could recall.

Sabrina learned things about herself that she otherwise would never have known, like the the fact that her fathers side is half-wolf, half-witch. Her grandfather, Stephan, was a werewolf from England who married a witch, Katelyn, from America. She learned that May and her father, Vince, were twins who inherited different genes. May was born a witch and Vince was born a wolf. And Sabrina learned things about the witches of Virgina; like their history and some hotspots. Her aunts only rule was that she didn't practice much magic outside of the safety of their home.

But Sabrina couldn't lie that she liked the normalcy of her everyday life; her aunt owned a supernatural store for witches, werewolves, and vampires alike, and everyday after school 'Rina was allowed to help out at the shop. 'Rina liked to call it the little shop of horrors due to the nasty supernatural weapons that were held there, but she knew if she ever called it that out loud it would be the last thing she said.

Her favourite thing to do when she worked in the shop was to play with her favourite set of tarot cards, they were the first gift that she ever received from May. She liked to spread them out of the counter and do free readings for any poor human soul that walked through the doors of the shop. Well, not only humans. Sabrina was a huge fan of doing the Salvatore's readings, the older brother had a soft spot for witchy kids with sad backstories and 'Rina knew just how to take advantage of it. Not only was she in the clear from vampire attacks, but she had some wiggle room for her magic (or as Damon liked to call it 'witchy voodoo').

And lastly, Sabrina liked how free she could be in the new town. It seemed as though every street she turned onto had a pride flag up, which warmed her heart to think that a town so small could be so accepting. It only took a few weeks at Aunt May's house for her to come out, and for days after that May walked around the house wearing purple, pink, and blue to show her love and support of Sabrina.

The pro's would include; being friends with Caroline who had always been the perfect friend and match maker, being friends with Bonnie who was the perfect tutor when her aunt was busy, and being friends with Damon who never failed to make her pancakes when she was sad.

The con's would include; being near Elena everyday, being near Elena while Stefan is off God-knows-where, and being near Elena when she invades the small shop below Sabrina's home. It wasn't that 'Rina had anything against Elena, it was truly nothing personal, but Sabrina found that the vibe Elena gave off wasn't one she could get behind. Thus, she stuck close by to the other members of the gang and hoped for the best.
