George looked around at the rest of the group.

It had been three hours since he had awakened, and in that time, they had shared very few words with each other.

He knew that they had to at least do something to past the time, even though he knew that it would not help them find the end of the sea.

His gaze fell on Ringo, who was holding Jeremy in his lap.

"Ay, Jeremy, do you have an idea on how we can pass the time?"

Jeremy looked over at him.

"Um... I do not know, but... I guess I shouldn't say no."

"Well," Joh started, wrapping an arm around Paul, who was sitting beside him, "can we, I don't know, play a game, maybe?"

"Good idea John, " Ringo stated, "but I don't think any of us have any cards..."

"Hmm... How about... We just talk about something?" Paul suggested.

"About what then?" George asked.

"I don't know. Anything?" Paul responded, looking down at the metal floor.

"Actually Paul, you do have a point."

John, Paul, and George all turned their heads to look at Ringo, not understanding his statement.

"What I mean is..."Ringo started, "we've only been here for what? A day? And yet, we're just letting things catch up to us."

"What do ya mean by that, Ringo?" John asked, curious.

"I guess I just miss the small things..."

"Like what?"

"Well, you know, the joy of seeing Pepperland in all its beauty, music, that sort of stuff..."

Ringo sighed.

"We've surely taken that for granted, didn't we lads?"

Jeremy, who had been silent until now, opened his mouth.

"Well, as for me, I'm guilty of that as well, I can see..."

"We all are," Paul started, "it's just, we didn't think about the possibility of this happening..."

"But then again, who would?" John asked in return, scooting closer to the bassist.

"I mean... We did kind of go on this whole expedition to find new seas..." George started, "I guess that some seas are just better left unexplored."

John saw an opportunity to make a joke after George's statement.

"Ay, I guess that we found what we were looking for in a way, huh?"

He shrunk back upon not even hearing a chuckle at his statement.

"Sorry, I was just trying to lighten up the mood..."

Silence.

The ever so familiar silence had appeared again.

It was getting annoying, but it was hard to muster up the courage to break it.

George sighed, laying down on his back and looking up at the system of pipes above him. Not having to make eye contact with his friends made it easier for him to speak.

"So, what else do you lads want to talk about?"

Slowly, Paul stood up, pulling John up with him.

"I think that that's all for now, George."

The pair walked over to a row of portholes and stared out into the dark abyss outside.

Ringo stayed in his spot, hugging Jeremy close to him.

"Uh, George?" He asked.

"What?"

"I was just wonderin'. Are you feelin' alright?"

The question caught Georeg off guard, making him sit up again."

"Yes... Why did you ask?"

"I just wanted to make sure..." Ringo sighed, "afterall, we don't know how long we'll be here."

"Well, are you feelin' fine yourself?"

"Umm... Fine, just a little worried... That's all."

Jeremy looked up at the drummer, wanting to comfort him.

"I am too, comfort you, that's what I want to do."

Ringo smiled down at him.

"Thanks."

Sighing, George layed back down onto the ground, closing his eyes and blocking out Ringo and Jeremy's conversation.

His mind went back to what they had all done in Pepperland.

The blue meanies.

Sgt. peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Old Fred.

Lord Mayor.

George knew deep down that there was a chance that they wouldn't get the chance to see them again. However, so far, he had succeeded in keeping those worries at the back of his mind.

But, he knew that, the longer they stayed in The Sea of Darkness, the more stronger the worries would become, and not just with him.

He knew that each of his friends had worries as well, but so far, they all had done a good job in ignoring them.

However, he knew that they wouldn't be able to keep their minds calm forever.

Georeg sighed heavily and rolled over onto his side, keeping his eyes closed as a tired feeling washed over him.

At least he could evade his worries in the dream world.
