Superstition:
Throwing spare change into a fountain is a time-honored ritual: any spoken wish will be granted.
For the second time in his life, Jungkook woke up next to the prettiest boy alive.
Taehyung had fallen asleep in his boxers and an oversized t-shirt of Jungkook's. His blonde hair was tossiled against the pillow, his cheeks were flushed a light pink, and his mouth was slightly opened; a small pool of drool formed at the corner of his mouth. Still, every fiber of Jungkook's being wanted to wake up to this sight every morning. He shivered a bit in his sleep, so the younger pulled him closer. He nuzzled his face into Jungkook's neck, wiping his wet lips stickily over the other's skin.
Jungkook knew, without a doubt, that he had fallen for this skeptical, superstitious, all around wonderful boy, who he feared would never want him in the way that he wanted. Heartbreak was inevitable at this point, but he was determined to at least attempt to win Taehyung over. For someone who didn't believe in love, Taehyung was sure filled with it.
He closed his eyes and attempted to go back to sleep, but it was difficult. His arm felt fuzzy from having the older lay on it for so long, but he didn't dare move. At this point, Taehyung could ask him to bring the whole fucking moon and he would die trying to do just that.
Yoongi's elevated bed creaked loudly behind Jungkook and he knew that his roommate must be waking up, he hoped that the older wouldn't make a scene about Taehyung spending the night. As Yoongi continued to toss and turn, his metal bed creaked louder. Jungkook softly groaned and prayed that the precious boy in his arms wouldn't wake up. He was about to tell his roommate to keep quiet, when an unsuspected voice spoke up.
"Ow! You're laying on my arm."
"Fuck, I'm sorry."
"Now your hand is on my ass."
"Is it!? I thought that was a pillow. I'm not used to sharing my bed, okay?"
"I know, my ass is so fine it feels like a pillow. Maybe if you had an adult bed instead of a bunk bed it wouldn't be so cramped!"
"It's a loft bed, thank you very much, and I need it so I have a place for my work desk."
"Ugh, I should have just slept on Jungkook's bed last night, I'm surprised I didn't fall off of this death trap."
"But what if he had come home last night?"
"I told you, I left them a note that I wouldn't be home. I knew he would take advantage of that to stay with Taehyung. Besides, you could have slept on the couch, but after what happened last night, don't act like you didn't want to share a bed!"
"Last night was a mistake."
"I know, you keep saying that. Makes me feel like shit by the way."
