Chapter 4~ I dont trust her

Andy's POV

"Alexander can you come in here please?" I call loudly from my office. Alex padded in the room quietly dressed for bed. "Yes Dad?" He asks curiously. "Son I need to tell you about something... Look something feels off about Rayn I do not trust her." I look at him straight in the eyes as I make my words known. "But Dad there isn't anything to worry about! She is harmless!" Alex gives a small smile as he waves off my comment. "Alex! Jake had a vision! Something that hasn't happened in a very long time and the last one was about me getting turned into this damned Los El Gados! Please take heed! Keep your guard up I beg you!" I yell grabbing Alex in a massive bear hug. "I don't want anything to happen to my son..." I whisper quietly as I hold Alex at arm's length. He looks at me surprised, wonder shinning in his black eyes. "Alright dad.... I will keep a look out for anything suspicious. Can I go to bed now?" I smile at Alex's question, I gave him on more tight squeeze before shooing him away.

I suddenly felt Legion stirring for the first time in years.

"She is dangerous.... has a plan for something..."

My whole body felt weird for a moment, as I had a silent conversation with Legion. I lay back on the bed trying to keep from fainting as Legion went on with his explanations. Conversing with him after so long of not made me light headed. "Andy? Did you speak with Alex?"

I look to see Juliet laying next to me wearing her night clothes and ready for bed. "Yes I did. He has promised to be careful." Juliet smiles as she snuggles up to me. After that we both drift off to sleep.

Alex's POV

I sat at a creek in the woods basking in the sun that warmed my black wings. The scenery was peaceful, no noise to disturb the nature. I close my eyes and sigh happily, yet I catch the low rustle of leaves. I open my eyes and look around not seeing anything. Suddenly a bullet flys past my head causing me to scramble to my feet. I look behind me to see an older man and younger man, father and son. "Damn it! I missed..." the teenager growled. The father pointed his gun and fired, I just barely manage to move away. I disappear in black smoke before reappearing in the sky above them. I feel a bullet scratch my upper left arm and hiss in pain as blood runs down my arm. I take that as my cue to flee. Who were they? Why were they trying to kill me?!

On my fly home I start feeling light headed and when I land at the front door my legs give way causing me to fall against the door loudly. My dad opens the door and I fall to the floor holding my arm as my vision went hazy. I could see my dad yelling at me and my mom freaking out, but couldn't answer them. My chest began to clench, I couldn't breathe!

I felt dad lifting me up in his arms and carrying me somewhere. I'm finally placed down on a bed as I feel a needle sticking my right thigh. A few minutes passed and I could breathe and see clearly again. I groan as my mom cleaned the bullet wound gently. "What happened Alex?" Uncle Jake asked worriedly.

"This father and son... shot at me when I was relaxing in the woods at my normal spot... I didn't think anyone knew about it!" I cry. Dad's eyes flashed black then back to blue, he was pissed and it seems Legion was taking that moment to say he wanted to fight. Legion... he was back after all these years?? That means something is seriously going on!

"Dad? Why is Legion back?" I ask scared. Dad shakes his head before leaving the room with Ashley, Jinxx, Jake, and CC. "Baby you should be good now. Go hang out with the other kids. Set their minds at ease they were worried... We all were." Mom says looking away sadly. "What happened?" I ask.

"You had an allergic reaction to lavender.." she says giving me a sharp look. Lavender? Was it in the bullet? It only grazed me! Imagine if it had actually hit me! I hug my mom before leaving the room. Something serious is going on.... Something that is not good!
