This filler chapter sucks. I know and I’m sorry. –J
PS, listen to the song on the side. I don't know why I love it but I do.

Patricia Hollister
“Miss Hollister, we’re about to start,” the doctor announced. My heartbeat quickened considerably. What are they going to do to me? I mean, I’ve seen some TV shows where one of the characters had cancer, but they never showed a chemotherapy session.
“Are they allowed to stay?” I asked with a frown. The boys’ presence was a very entertaining and comforting one, and needed that. If this was going to be painful, I want to be able to look into their eyes and know that everything’s going to be all right. I also want to know what I’m going to do if (maybe) they were to give me laughing gas.
The doctor sighed. “It’s okay, but the less people in here, the better.” His voice was a creepy monotone.
“Well–” Zayn stood up and pulled on Niall’s arm “–Niall and I are going to the food court.” He dragged the blond toward the door, ignoring his protests. But to get him to shut up, Zayn said, “You still owe me that soda!”
I laughed and returned my attention to Harry, Liam and Louis who were seated in front of me. “How about you three? Staying or leaving?”
“I’m staying.” Louis gave me a big grin. “I can’t leave my little Sha-Sha in here all alone, now, can I? She needs a big, strong man to stay with her in case she screams like a little girl.”
“You're only half an inch taller than me,” I retorted. I looked back to Liam and Harry.
“Um, Liam and I are going out . . . no, not in that sense, Louis! Dirty minded bastard,” Harry began to mutter inaudible sentences, most likely curses aimed at Louis. The older boy only smirked in response.
“You know you love me, Haz,” Liam joked, winking.
Harry perked up slightly. “Of course I do, Liam.” He ruffled Liam’s hair and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
“Lirry!” I suddenly yelled, and burst into laughter. They all gave me a ‘what the hell?’ look. “What? Haven’t you seen all that stuff on Tumblr and Twitter? Fan fictions, fan accounts, imagines. . . .” I started listing off the things I usually see on the internet.
Harry just shook his head before swiftly kissing my cheek. “See you later, Patricia. You’ll be all right.” It wasn’t a wish. It was a statement. He then shot a mischievous smile in Louis’ direction.
“See you, Patricia.” Liam smiled warmly and followed Harry out the door.
“That lad needs to control his flirting habits,” Louis mumbled.
I shrugged. “It’s part of his charm.”
“We’re going to start now.” The doctor reappeared. I hadn’t even noticed his disappearance. Where’d he run off to? Doctors usually aren't so weird, but. . . . “So,” he said, “I’m assuming this is your boyfriend?”
“What? No! I mean . . . we’re not dating!” Louis and I yelled simultaneously.
“Really? Because—ah, never mind. Let’s just get started.”
Louis squeezed my hand. “You’re gonna be all right, Sha-Sha.”
And that one action, coupled with that sentence, was just enough to make my heart skip a beat; maybe two. It’s not like I count, anyway.
