Hullo, reader! Patricia here. xD Listen, I know you probably prefer Julia rather than me because she's waaaaay nicer than me. And include the fact that she's a better writer than me, it's clear you like her. LOL, k. Anyways, I'm sorry I'm a few days late. I finished this chapter a long, looooong time ago, but internet ceased to exist in my house. :DD I'm starting with Chapter 5 already, and i might upload it tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. OK, I'll stop talking nonsense. Here's chapter 4. ;)))))

“Are you sure you don’t want to stay in the hospital longer, Ms. Hollister? There might be problems while you’re at home-”
“No, no, I’ll be fine. I’m pretty sure of it,” Patricia assured the doctor. With his giant eyeglasses and the lab coat –doctor’s coat, whatever– the look on his face was worried and concerned. I liked this doctor better than the other one. That guy creeped me out.
Sha-Sha, right after the chemotherapy session and the craze of Zayn and Niall getting lost in the hospital trying to look for the food court, decided she didn’t want to stay in the hospital any further. Being her best friend and all, it wasn’t quite hard to read her. I knew how much the noxious smell and the creepy hallways scared her, not to mention that nurse, Maxandrea, kept barging inside the room like she owned it. If I were Pat, I would leave when I got the chance.
“Yeah,” I agreed, “She’ll be fine ‘cause I’m here.” I smiled at the doctor. Patricia rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. She took the glass of water and raised it to her lips.
The doctor nodded and looked at me strangely, “Are you two in a relationship?”
Patricia choked on the liquid she was drinking, and she was clutching her chest like she was having hard time breathing. Just before I could protest, the doctor continued, “You both look wonderful together.”
Patricia’s cheeks became crimson in color. Of course, we always got mistaken for being lovers –believe me, those situations got worse when were teenagers– but we were never complimented by anyone. I felt the blood rush to my cheeks as well, but I managed to get out a few words.
“We . . . a-aren’t together. She’s just my, er, best friend.” Seriously? What kind of doctor is this?
“Yup, he’s just my best friend. You know, supporting me,” Pat added when she was finally able to regain her composure. She put the glass on the nightstand.
The doctor hung his head in embarrassment, “Oh, I’m sorry. It’s just . . . never mind.” He looked at the clipboard he was holding, and scanned a few lines written on it. “I still have to run through a few tests, but you can go in an hour. By the way, where are your other friends?”
“Uh . . . where did they say they went, Sha-Sha?” I scratched my head, unable to remember what Liam said about which part of the hospital they were going.
“Food court, I think that’s where Liam said he would go,” she said. “Zayn was calling Perrie, and I think he’s at the parking lot. Harry mentioned something about flirting with the nurses, and Niall’s messing around with the elevator.”
“Okay. You still have visitors, am I-” the doctor started, but I shot him a look that meant: Don’t spoil. Good thing he understood quickly, and he covered up, “I will have to go now.”
The doctor went outside and closed the door. Sha-Sha frowned, “What was that all about? Did he seriously think that we were together?” she shook her head in disbelief.
I chuckled, “I know, right?”
After a few moments of silence, I received a text from Jay, my mum.
