After making that call, I stood in front of the room where the lads, Pat, Jay, and the young ones were staying. Taking a deep breath, I twisted the doorknob. I peeked inside to find everyone with confused faces and talking in hushed tones.

Patricia was face to face with Liam, and it looked like they were talking about me. Leave Patricia to be always the concerned one. Not that I’m complaining. The Niall, Zayn, and Harry were positioned near the door. Harry was holding the other side of the doorknob, so maybe he had plans following me, but he was facing the rest of the boys. Jay and the siblings just sat on the part of the room where there were seats, talking about something.

I entered the room. Once they fully realized that I was there, they fell silent. Patricia looked at me, concern painted all over her face. I smiled sheepishly at them and locked eyes with Patricia. Then what happened next wasn’t quite expected. My stomach erupted into a butterfly farm, and I was pretty sure I was blushing. Oh, why the bloody heck do I feel this way?

I took a deep breath, and I tried to push my anxiousness away. I was nervous of Pat might tell me when she will give me a private talk.

“Sorry,” I muttered, “I was just . . . er, tired, that’s all.”

I looked at the rest of the people in the room, and it seemed like we were added one person . . . oh, Patricia’s mum, Christine, was here. I smiled at her, and by the look on her face, she just arrived and they told her about my scene.

Just before awkward silence could settle, I said, “Um, I was wondering if you guys would like to have a party tonight-“

“Heck, yeah!” Zayn exclaimed, “DJ Malik in the house!”

“-and spend the night at Patricia’s,” I directed to the boys, “because it’ll be quite boring in the hotel. Would that be okay, Mrs. Hollister?”

I glanced at Pat’s mum, and she smiled.

“Of course it is okay.” Christine starts, “and it’s perfect timing, since there had been problems with our office at Sweden. I picked a night flight, and I have to leave when the doctor allows my daughter to leave.”

“Yeah, baby!” Harry said.

Zayn started to go berserk again, “DJ Malik, all day, all night!”

Liam scoffed, “DJ Payne’s a whole lot better.”

“Oh, really?” Zayn smirked. Then the both of them started having an argument about what genre of music, and soon enough, they were having a beatbox competition. Again.

Felicite asked Jay, “Can we join them, Mum?”

Jay shook her head, “Oh, no. you girls still need to finish your homework, and you have school tomorrow.” The four of them whined, and I had to stifle a chuckle.

“Hey Louehh!” Niall said, “can we take out food from Nando’s?”

I shrugged, “Depends on Patricia.”

Her eyes widened, “No, you are so not giving me the authority of organizing a party. You know I’m horrible with that stuff.”

I was about to argue and make a joke, nut Christine’s voice made me jump, “Oh, and Louis?”
