Poonam was sitting near the swimming pool and having a glass of Rum. Abhi was sitting next to her. She looked very cool and composed, yet there was sadness in her eyes.
Abhi held her hands and softly asked:
" Is something bothering you?"
"What should bother me?" Poonam replied. She just wanted to control her tears that could drip down at any moment.
In the morning office hours, she was pretending to be happy. Her secretarial job and a handsome boss allowed her to stay calm in the office. Her husband finally is legally married was pinching her deep from inside.
Ana was pregnant and Rohit was preparing for fatherhood. She had accepted that reality. She was not unhappy nor she shared any animosity with Ana, still, something was bothering her.
She saw some Instagram posts by Nikki. She felt as if her own daughters have gone away from her. They admired Ana and had accepted her. Some thoughts flashed in her mind...
"How could they be so happy? How could they still love their dad who cheated on their mother? How could they get close of their dad's second wife?" This questions did not have any right or wrong answers. Poonam was feeling betrayed from inside.
Rohit looked so handsome in the traditional attire like a young groom on the social media post.
Her memories flashed back to her wedding day, they were sitting on the dinner table after the wedding rituals and Rohit feeding Poonam some Paneer.
"Paneer was not something that she liked. She was praying deep inside that he should feed her some kheer but she got something that she disliked."
She never complained, always tried to be happy with him and had never thought, he will cheat her. After controlling for a while, her tears rolled down her cheeks. She was wiping it hard. Abhi could not bear it longer. He broke the silence.
"You look beautiful when you smile :) Pooh... I really like you... Please don't think of Rohana. I know you are hurt from inside and your ex is forever committed to a second woman. Even you need to move in your life. Last night you were high with drinks. You said 'yes' to me when I proposed to you. Please, Pooh, come into my life. " Abhi knelt down and begged Poonam to be his wife and start a life together...
Pooh laughed loudly and said :
"Even today I am drunk... Abhi, I really like you but I can't love you. I am at the perimenopausal stage. I want you to be happy and I am not the right one for you. I don't think I would be able to make, I mean to give birth to your children. I want you to do what I did in my 30's. I made love... I became the mother of my two daughters... Rohit was later not interested in my chubby cheeks, ptosis and lose holes. I got busy with my children and Rohit is an amazing father. Abhi, I really like you. Please don't commit the biggest mistake in your life, I am worthless..."
Pooh walked towards her room without giving Abhi a chance to speak further. She could not sleep. She was thinking about Rohana and their bed of roses.

Rohana, they once-again newly married were enjoying the honeymoon suite. Ana looked a little worried and upset. She started searching on Google :
"Is it safe to make love in pregnancy?"
Rohit was busy chatting with JK who was not only their legal advisor but also event management manager.
Rohana had an unusual official wedding. The bride and the groom were away from the scenario and the guests were busy with the booze and extra pack of entertainment. JK 's daughter Roshini had arranged for a ramp walk. All the girls were busy with it. Nikki and Bani were loving it.

Sheena masi and Maa were bitching about Roshini. Her exposing top.
Gurri 's wife Jassi asked her the price of the dress and almost fainted. Pami aunty was looking for a perfect match for Roshini and Suhani.
"I am already married. " One said...
"I am already engaged. " Another young lady sighed. There was nothing left for Pami aunty, rather than munching on some Chinese food.
In the honeymoon suite Rohit asked Ana:
"I hope you don't regret this decision. I hope you will stay committed to me till my last breath. "
Ana sipped some Red wine and sang :
"4 bhaj gaye hein party abhi baki hein." ( A song)
"I am asking you something, Ana ... Will you be my side till my last breath?" Roh whispered in his husky voice.
Ana looked deep into his eyes and blew a kiss. Roh was happy.
She walked closer to him and touched his rosy red lips.
"Roh, jeene marne ki baat mat karo. Bahot dard hota hein... " (Don't talk of painful things like death) She sighed and took a pause.
Roh expected some romance but today she was more serious. She knew it was not the day to give him a rule book.
" If you love someone then automatically, there is some compromise and adjustments done. There had to be no blame game further..."
"Rohit, I love you but I am not a typical wife portrayed in any soap opera. I am not Tulsi ( a fictional character) to run behind you with a cup of tea. I am happy with this legal marriage but it doesn't chain me. I have my freedom. I want to join work in the next few days. I have taken salaries in advance for your office space in Dubai. There are lots of things that are bothering me. I hope our life is not a mystery and we are not namesake partners in front of the whole world... "Kehne ko humsafar hein," is not what I need?"
Roh pulled her closer and kissed her forehead.
"Today is not the day to talk about worries. We are not newly married. We were together for a year. The destiny separated us but we were again united. There were many ups and downs. Now everything will be fine between us. I just want Nikki to get married and after that, my girls will be busy with their homes. Yeah, it looks little awkward for me to be a father at this age, in the late '40s. But Ana, Thank you! When I was searching for my happiness, I found you. We are no more girlfriend and boyfriend. I am more comfortable being your boyfriend but our marriage is much above my priorities. Let us sleep now as it is already morning. "
