Jaehyun POV [Family's House] 2019  

I am in my family's house right now for dinner with them, I have been busy with work lately so I don't have much time to spend with them unless it's really late like right now. My mother keeps talking about my future. She said it will be bad if I don't get married soon, and I am getting old very fast, she would not stop talking about it, which annoys me. What's my dad doing? Well, he is just agreeing to everything she says and he doesn't even bother to stop it. Until   

M/n: "Jaehyun, I have a friend who has a daughter and she is single and available currently. They would love you"   

Jaehyun: "Eomma, can you please stop talking about my marriage life, please? I will get married when I found someone"  

F/n: "Jaehyun, your mother is just worried about you. Can't you just agree to the marriage?" 

Jaehyun: "That's it, I am leaving," I said as I got up and left the house to go back to my condo  

I can hear my mother calling for me as I got into my car.  

Jaehyun: "I am sorry Eomma and Appa, but I just don't want to marry someone I don't love. I need to meet The One first"  

Jaehyun POV [Jaehyun's Condo]  

Finally, I got home safely, I straight away headed to my room and lay on my bed  

Jaehyun: "Ahhhh. What am I supposed to do now?!"  

Then someone burst my door open and I got up from my bed to look at who it was. 

???: "Dude, why are you screaming? It's midnight"  

Jaehyun: "I don't know what to do anymore Taeyong"  

Johnny and Winwin came into the room and sat next to me on the bed, while Taeyong is standing in front of me and observing me closely  

Taeyong: "It's your parents again? With the marriage stuff"  

Jaehyun: "How can it not be about that? Of course, it is. Like come on, every time I went home, they kept on talking about it every single time"  

Johnny: "Why don't you go and live somewhere else for a few years? until your mother forgets about it a little"  

Winwin: "oh, I have a friend who lives in Paris, maybe you can live with him. Since he always wanted a roommate but couldn't find a good one"  

Jaehyun: "ah I don't want to do it, but if this is the only option that we have right now then okay, but that's only if your friend will allow it."  

Winwin: "I will go call him and see" he then leaves the room and came back in after a few minutes "he allows you to live with him. However long as you want, but you have to have a job so you can pay a bit, and since he is busy with school. He won't be able to cook or buy food"  

Taeyong: "okay then, it's settled. You will be living in Paris for a few years and we will keep in contact about your mother with you while you're over there. I will go and book you your plane ticket for tomorrows flight, does that sound good?"  

I nodded at them, and took my luggage out of the closet and started to pack my things. The three of them left my room to tell the others about this unplanned for the trip. The next morning, I left Korea and meet up with Alexandre, the person I will be living with while I am in Paris.

Jaehyun POV [Back in Korea outside of the airport] 2024 

Jaehyun talking to himself: "I am finally back in Korea, Hello Korea. Wow, everything changed so much. I hope my mother will not find out I am back" 

I immediately texted Taeyong that I am here, at the airport and I will take a taxi back home. I will probably be screamed at if I go back to the company, by my parents, so I better not go back to work just yet. 

Jaehyun POV [outside of his condo]  

For some reason, I lost my way back home, so I had to call Johnny to help me out. I started to walk around and accidentally bump into someone while I was looking for Johnny, and still on the call. 

Jaehyun: "oh my gosh, I am so sorry, it was my fault I wasn't paying attention," I said while looking down on the floor to pick up the person's things that dropped onto the ground and continuously bow down at them until they started to talk.

???: "It's okay, I am sorry for not paying attention too. I am in a rush to go to work and I was running and got distracted, and didn't look in front of me" 

Jaehyun: "oh sorry, look can I pay you back with a coffee or something like that. I am sorry because of this. you'll probably be screamed at by the boss" 

???: "sure, that sounds fine with me. here is my phone number. I am really sorry. I would love to chat more with you but I need to go fast" she runs away with all her things 

Jaehyun: "Hey wait, what's your name?!, dang it. How can I forget to ask that? Oh, I forgot. Hyeong sorry about that. Anyways, where were we?" 

While I was waiting for him to answer someone pats my back. I turned to person, and it was Johnny smiling at me with a cheeky look 

Johnny: "I sense someone that just got a girls phone number for the first time, and it smells like it will be an adventure" 

Jaehyun: "can you please stop talking such no sense, I am really tired and jet lag right now. There is no time for jokes" 

Johnny POV 

I pointed to the condo and said it was on the 10th floor on the right. Jaehyun then left me alone. 

Johnny: I didn't even say it was a joke, and trust me. You should of a listen to me
