You pulled the sheets off your body, you looked over to your right, he was gone.

You got out of bed putting your clothes as you sighed. You made your way to the bathroom and you were about to open the door when you heard the sound of water running. You stepped back and slowly pulled on the knob preparing yourself for whatever was behind there.
