*Liv's POV*
The rest of the week went by uneventful, except for the usual laughs and names from Noah and his friend who I've come to know as Josh. They were complete assholes and I tried to avoid them as much as possible. Unfortunately, Noah acquired the taste of torturing me.
It was Friday night, the big game, and I was standing by the gate of the school's parking lot, waiting for Ryan to arrive. My eyes squinted as his car came into view, headlights blinding me. The car came to a stop in a parking space and 4 people climbed out.
Ryan, Michael, Shawn and Bianca. My heart sank when I saw how sexy she looked in her cheerleader uniform. I walked over to them and smiled.
"Hay guys!" I said, sounding more happy then I actually was.
"Hay babe." Ryan said, an obvious fake smile on his lips. Just as mine.
"Hay Olivia!" The other two guys greeted, smiling at me. I gave them as little attention as possible and only focused on Ryan. The way he liked. Bianca snickered and made her way over to Ryan. "Good luck." She said in a sultry voice, leaning close to him. She winked and then ran off in her skimpy attire.
I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms over my chest. Shawn and Mike followed her to the locker room to get ready for the game. "What have you eaten today?" Ryan asked. I couldn't hide the irritation on my face. It was the first question he asked me when he sees me everyday. And I'm sick of it.
"Nothing. I've eaten absolutely nothing." I snapped. He glared at me and grabbed my neck, shoving me against the car and pinning me there. My eyes widened and I clawed at his hand against my throat. "What the hell is your problem today?" He growled, his face inches from mine.
I couldn't answer him. His fingers were stopping the air from reaching my lungs. "Don't let me find out you're getting brave, Olivia." He spat. I wrestled against him, but nothing worked. I was panicking. I couldn't breathe. His grip loosened, but still stayed firm. I gasped greedily, trying to fill my lungs with air.
"I'm only trying to help you, Olivia. You where the one that said you wanted to start losing weight." He said softly, his face inches from mine. Tears where streaming down my face. I was frightened. I can't believe that only moments ago I couldn't breathe because of him.
I was trembling, afraid of what he would do if we were alone for much longer. Luckily, someone interrupted us.
"Is everything okay here?" My eyes snapped open to see Noah standing a few feet behind Ryan. His glare on Ryan's back. Ryan tensed up and slowly taking his hand off my throat. I was relieved at the loss of tension around my neck. My hand flew up and rubbed the sore spots, already knowing that a bruise would be forming.
Ryan turned around and glared at Noah for a moment, then chuckled. "Yeah. Everything's good." He said, crossing his arms over his chest. I didn't speak. I couldn't. My throat was too sore. "I'm glad you're doing okay douchebag, but I was talking to Liv." Noah snapped. My eyes widened when he said that.
"Liv?" Ryan said, testing out the newly found nickname. "She's my girlfriend. And I said she's fine." Ryan said, taking a threatening stance in front of me. "She may be your girlfriend. For god knows what reason, but she can still speak for herself." Noah snapped.
I looked at him, silently grateful for his interruption. But I knew that if he kept pushing Ryan's button, Ryan would snap and beat the shit out of him. Not that I don't think Noah can't handle himself, but Ryan was a quarterback for a reason.
"I'm fine. Thank you Noah. We're just... talking." I said softly. Noah's eyes found mine, as if he was asking me silently if I was okay. I nodded once and then grabbed Ryan's hand. I don't want him to hurt Noah for no reason.
"Come on. You'll be late for the game." I said softly.
Ryan gave Noah one last glare and then walked with me, wrapping a possessive arm around my waist. I looked back and saw Noah still staring at us. Our eyes met and I gave him a small smile before disappearing around the corner.
----------------------
Ryan didn't have time to scold me for what Noah did, because the game started. And as fast as it started it ended. They had won the game against KHS and we were currently on our way to the celebration party at Ryan's house.
I didn't like coming to these things, but Ryan always made me.
I was wearing black skinny jeans and a loose fitting white shirt. I was extremely proud of myself, because two weeks ago this shirt was tight fitting and now it was loose. I had chosen to wear this so Ryan could see the hard work was paying off.
When we reached his house people were already piling in and music was already blaring loudly. As soon as we got out of the car, Ryan grabbed my wrist and lead me through the house to his bedroom. I was familiar with his house of course. We've been dating for two years and I've obviously been here before.
When we reached his room he closed his door, muffling some sounds of the music. He then glared at me, letting me know he was angry. "Congratulations on the game baby. The team wouldn't have won if it wasn't for you." I said, boasting his ego. He usually goes easy on me if I make him feel good about himself. His glare didn't falter. This tells me that he is REALLY angry.
And I already know about what.
