*Liv's POV*
I exited the bathroom after rinsing out my mouth from the vile ordeal I just had to endure and made my way to my locker.
I kept my head down, looking at nothing and no one to not attract attention to myself. But unfortunately the universe hates me and made me bump into something hard, falling back to the floor. I looked up and saw him.
He had dyed black hair, styled up into a quiff and hazel eyes that where glaring down at me. His lip and eyebrow was decorated with piercings that I was sure violated the school's dress code along with the tattoos peeking out from behind his plain white t-shirt.
I scrambled up and collected my things. "I'm so sorry." I mumbled to him, not sure if he heard me. "Would you please watch where you're going next time fat ass?" He spat. I flinched and froze at his tone. His words causing tears to prickle my eyes.
"I'm sorry." I mumbled again.
A couple of people where staring at us. The exact attention I was trying to avoid. Probably looking to see how 'The Wale' struggled to get back up again. I tried ignoring them and stood up, hearing the names they called me inside my head. They didn't actually say them, but I KNOW they were thinking them.
The guy I bumped into snorted and pushed past me, bumping his shoulder against mine roughly. I whimpered at the impact as he hit a bruise I had from last night's beating.
As soon as the guy disappeared around the corner I rushed to my first class, which was art.
Through the whole of the class I couldn't concentrate. My stomach was killing me and my head was pounding. My throat still burned from earlier, but I had no one to complain to. I didn't have any friends. The only people who even bothered to talk to me was Ryan and his friends. But I wasn't allowed to talk to them. He got angry if I did.
Lunch time came and I went to the cafeteria, grabbing Ryan's usual lunch. Which consisted of a burger and fries, mouth watering caramel pudding and a soda. My stomach growled hungrily at the sight of the food, but I ignored it only grabbing a bottle of water to satisfied my needs.
I then quickly went to our usual spot underneath a big oak tree in the yard, where Ryan was already waiting for me. He talked and laughed with his friends, winking at the girl I despised more then hell.
Her name was Bianca. She was the most irritating person I have ever met. She had long blonde hair, always hanging loosely around her shoulders. She was beautiful. And She knew it too. Along with every other guy in the school. She was pretty popular because her father donated a decent amount of money to the school every year.
She was the head cheerleader and a complete slut. And she has been after my boyfriend since the beginning of the school year. I frowned when I saw her place a hand on Ryan's thigh.
I could understand her fascination with Ryan. He was the school quarterback after all. He was also pretty popular. Which is why I didn't know what he was doing with a girl like me.
I walked closer and put a fake smile on my face. "Oh! Hay Olivia!" One of Ryan's best friends, Michael, greeted me with a genuine smile. He was the nicest of the lot. He was always cracking jokes trying to get everyone to laugh. I smiled at him. "Hay Mike." I said softly, glancing at Ryan to see if he was getting angry.
He didn't even notice. He was too infatuated with Bianca.
"How are you?" Mike asked me, taking a bite of his burger. I glanced at his food, hunger filling me. "Oh uhm... g-great thanks. And you?" I asked nervously. I didn't want Ryan to see me staring at his food.
"Amazing! We beat the Hawk's asses this weekend so obviously amazing. You coming to the game this Friday?" He asked happily. "Yeah. Ryan likes it when I watch him play." I said truthfully. "Great! We're gonna rock this game. We're playing against KHS." He informed me. "Yeah they suck." Another friend of Ryan's, Shawn, added joining the conversation.
Kingsley high was our school's rivals. The boys hated them, because they always try and make problems and crash parties of ours.
"Yeah you'll totally win. You guys are great." I said, starting to get comfortable.
I glanced at Ryan and saw he was glaring at me. I immediately stopped talking to Mike and Shawn and went to Ryan. I gave him his food as he still glared at me. I grabbed my wrist and pulled me next to him, making it look loving, even though it was far from loving. "What have I said to you about talking to other guys, Olivia?" He whispered harshly.
"I... I'm sorry." I said.
He sighed, but thankfully let it go, pulling me to sit next to him. His hand rested on my thigh, making me flinch. When I saw he was calm, talking to Mike about the game I relaxed a bit. I took big gulps of my water, trying to calm my stomach down.
"Did you guys see the new kid this morning? Fuck he's hot." Bianca said to the girls in the group. "Oh yeah totally. His abs are to die for." Michael joked in the most girly voice I've ever heard. Shawn slapped the back of his head and shook his own. I giggled, but stopped when I received a glare for Ryan.
"Shut up Mike." Bianca said rolling her eyes. "I saw him. He is hot. In that typical 'bad boy' sinner kind of way." one of Bianca's friends said. "Yeah. What's his name again...? Oh yeah. Noah."
