Tom informed me that Joseph Lingering arrived home earlier than expected. He was scheduled to reach today afternoon. He seemingly rushed his way back and returned to the house late yesterday night. Reason? Josh Jordan no doubt! I had expected him to arrive this morning but I obviously did not give him enough credit.
I needed to show my performance to Joseph at noon. I took my time to wake up, have breakfast and lazed around before going off to the practice room..... (Ling: (sideway glance) Are you sure that's what happened?) Okay, I'm lying! I overslept this morning, missed breakfast and had to rush to the practice room! My goodness, the size of the house is not working for me! What's the point of having such a big house?! It is just a waste of resources, time and energy! I mean, the practice room is not even the farthest room but still requires a half hour walk to reach. I really would not mind having the Body Flicker Technique (from Naruto) right now. I had to run all the way to make sure that I reach the room before Joseph arrives. I do not want to imagine what he would do if I am late. The various tales of his violent self from Lisa were enough to give me nightmares. Luckily I had improved this body's physical abilities throughout the past month.
I arrived outside the practice room ten minutes before noon. I opened the door and walked in while taking slow, deep breath. A transparent monitor appeared in front of me. "Greetings. Would you like to log on to a previous account or register a new account?" a pleasant female voice asked. "A previous account," I replied. "Pulling out the previous accounts. Please stand still for a second for the identification process." The monitor hovered above my head for a second and moved in front of me again. "Thank you for your cooperation, Mr Liam Lingering." The room lit up immediately after the sentence ended. "Have a great practice, Mr Liam." The transparent monitor disappeared.
I worked over to the bench and sat down. I started eating the apple that I did manage to grab off the table before I ran out. Eight minutes before the scheduled time. I wonder if he would be early. I heard the click of the door opening just when I finished the apple. Five minutes before the scheduled time. I guess he is a person who cares about punctuality.
How should I describe Joseph Lingering? The first thing that came to mind when I set eyes on him is "How can someone be so pretty?!" I had read the book and the entire paragraph describing his appearance. I had pictured him in my mind. I had heard Lisa and Tom described him. Nothing of all that came close to the real thing. There is a reason behind the phrase "See it to believe it". He has the blackest eyes that I have ever seen. The most appropriate word to describe him might just be "doll". However, you will never mistaken his gender. He is a dolly boy.
"I'm really busy so get started," he said coldly. I guess no matter how dolly and harmless he looks, he is still that horrible bully (¯\_(ツ)_/¯). I stood up and threw the apple core into the bin. Joseph Lingering walked over to the bench. He stared at the area I was sitting previously for a full ten seconds (Ling: how did you know the exact time?) and gave a disgusted look before walking to the other end of the bench.
[WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU????!!!!! ASSHOLE! TO THINK THAT I THOUGHT YOU WERE THE PRETTIEST PERSON I HAVE EVER SEEN!! (Ling:....do you wanna take a look in the mirror?) HORRIBLE ASSHOLE!!!! Joseph Lingering stared at me in shocked while I walked out of the practice room and slammed the door.]
It always the best to daydream.........
Back to reality. I just stood there looking at him with disbelieve. He must have gotten frustrated because he started, "If you are not starting, I'm gonna go and tell father that you failed." "Wait, wait, wait..I'm starting, I'm starting!" Talk about being impatient.
Long story short, I left the room feeling extremely satisfied while Joseph Lingering had that I-just-ate-a-plate-of-really-tasty-food-and-you-are-telling-me-they-are-actually-dog-poop face.
I guess that leaves us with the D&D then. *evil grin*
