You were accepted into U.A. no questions asked, you didn't even have to do any tests.

Do they seriously think that highly of me? So much that I don't even have to do a test? I wonder what dad said or did. Or who he spoke to in that case. I really hope they haven't over-estimated me. I don't want to let anyone down.

You took the provisional license test with other schools which was quite scary. However, you were able to pull through by being the first person to pass the first round and getting surprisingly high marks on the second round with 91 points. You could help endangered civilians with ice, air or earth when moving them out of dangerous environments and you were able to give them comforting words for a safe sense of security. That was the easiest part. Years of practice really did come in handy.

I was going to join U.A. and move into the dorms some time into the semester which was pretty nerve-wracking. However, today is the day of the beginning of the second semester, meaning that I'm on my way to see my mom.

Honestly, I'm shitty myself.

I really hope she likes me.
First impressions count, so I have to make sure it's a good one!

I was in the car with my uncle who wasn't really my uncle, just one of my dad's best friends, but he's pretty much an uncle so that what I call him along with Toshinori.

My suit case was in the back and my backpack was right at my feet, stored with my phone charger and other necessities that needed easy access during the trip.

I watched from the black car, our surroundings turning into the country side, to the town, to the city, with long stretched motorways thrown in-between.

I was pumping with excitement and smiled to myself while looking out the window, "Hey, Uncle Naomasa?"

(a/n- i completely forgot about this guy i literally had to google him, if u forgot it's that one police officer detective guy i think. the plain looking one)

"Yeah,"

"What's the city like?"

"Why, don't you remember y/n?"

"Well, barely. I remember the atmosphere and getting sushi with dad and him buying me a plushie of uncle Toshi." I let out a small chuckle, remembering the time he took me there, "Oh and the pigeons, but that's all really."

"The city is a big place, y/n, and I need you to remember that there can be lots of good people along with bad ones. But I think you'll be able to handle some sad, dirty man, no sweat!" He flashed a smile at me while I shook my head and stuck my tongue out, thinking about the wierd people that can be found in the city. I sighed before replying,

"Maybe when I'm in public I'll just wear a baggy hoodie."

"That'll make you look quite suspicious,"

"I'll just wear one that isn't black then!"

We both chuckled at my response before I realised something, "Wait, where am I staying?! I don't even know where mom lives!"

"Calm down, y/n. You know how prepared your dad can be and you'd be dead wrong if you think he hasn't thoroughly planned this out. You'll be staying at a hotel for the night and I'll text you your mom's address tomorrow morning, alright? Your dad will give you money every month on your debit card so you can pay for taxis and other stuff as well."

Letting out a sigh mixed with relief and frustration I replied, "He's too good to me. But I really wish I could drive myself!"

My uncle giggled at my response, "You'll be able to drive when you're eighteen so just try to be patient until then." I sighed and grunted in agreement before I stared out the window, slowly drifting into sleep.

~~~~~
I woke up to my uncle tickling me, "OH MY GO- AHAAH WAIT NO HOLDON- GAH AHAH!"
"That's what you get for drooling on my door,"
"Ohh... my bad."
"Alright then, let's get your stuff into your room."
The hotel was vast and classy, with a touch of modern decor. My room was cozy where there was a double bed with white sheets that had a touch of gold and through another door the was a bathroom. It was amazing. It was amazing. It was spacious, had a separate shower and bath. The mirror had lights around it!
It's a shame that I'm only staying here for the night.
~~~~~

Uncle Naomasa had left a few hours ago, wishing me good luck for the future ahead of me. It was getting pretty boring. I had gotten into the deep part of YouTube with the random videos that you would never choose to search up, but only watching them out of curiosity.

That was until someone knocked at my door,
"Delivery for miss y/n,"

"Come in~" I sang,

I looked at the door and saw my uncle Toshi,

"You're here!"

He accepted my tight hug (not like he had a choice either way) and giggled, "I've always been here, you're the one that came to me, silly" He replied before pulling away and ruffling my hair.

"Fair point. So, what did you come here to talk about?"

We both took a seat on the couch, turning so we could face eachother. I hugged a cushion and crossed my legs before he began to speak, "I came here to inform you that you will be the 21st student of class 1-A of the hero course in U.A. which is also the same class as your brother."

His statement made me perk up, "Wait really? That's sweet!... But 21st student... Doesn't that make it an odd number? Is the school okay with that?"

"Your dad and I were able to reason with principal Nezu and he gladly accepted you. He's also why you didn't even have to take the entrance exam or one for recommendations. He trusts your fathers judgement."

"He sounds really nice. Also, didn't you say that you taught at U.A.?"

"Yeah, what about it?"

"That's means you've seen my brother, what's he like?"

"His name doesn't happen to be Izuku Midoriya, right?"

"It is actually..."

"Oh man." He rested his head on his hand and his elbow was rested on the top of the couch.

"Huh? What are you on about Toshi?"

"Well... You see..." He was twiddling his thumbs at this point and avoiding eye contact, "You know how I always say that the world is a small place?" I nodded as a response, "It's because my successor looked exactly like you and he had the exact same surname as well but I just thought to myself that is was a coincidence and that 'there's no way a quirkless city boy could be related to my niece who has an oddly overpowered quirk and lives in the country side 200 miles from here'! But then when your dad told me that you actually had a twin brother I realised how stupid I was thinking that it was just a coincidence."

He said everything so quickly and I could barely make out what he said. He clearly needed to get that off of his chest. I giggled at his rant until the realisation hit me,

"HUHHH?!?! WAIT, SO YOU'RE SAYING THAT MY TWIN BROTHER IS GOING TO BECOME THE NEXT ALL MIGHT?!"

"Pretty much, yeah." He replied, rubbing the back of his head.

We carried on our conversation and he told me about how he can barely hold his All Might form for barely a minute and that part of the reason for his retirement was because he revealed his 'weak' form during battle with All for One on live TV. All of which I didn't know about and I was shocked speechless.

He scoulded me for not watching the news ;(

"Holy crap. I can't believe I was clueless this whole time."

"I can't believe that your dad didn't even tell you."

He gave me my U.A. uniform and left the hotel after a hug and a ruffle of my hair.

Tomorrow's gonna be a big day.
