We were talking about how we internalize the idea of "normal" skin colors at a very young age, and [our teacher's name] decided it was good to teach by example... so we walked into class today and there were dolls and little cute toys everywhere and basically what im saying is we went to preschool for ten minutes as an example of how many white toys/dolls there are in a typical preschool classroom
SO HARD to be big right there. I had to pretend I was embarrassed by the people looking into the classroom so she'd put the toys away. Kinda hilarious afterwards, but jesus that was difficult
