My Shining Star

Part 9

LAUREN stared blankly at the white envelope that is lying on her side table at her room in her apartment that was not far away in the shop. She was staring at it for too long now, she was still hesitant to open it but she need to know what contains in that envelope so she grab it, she tear it open. Once it was open she took out a paper and saw a handwritten on it, she then realized it was a letter, so she began reading it:

To my dearest Lauren,

I know this is too much for you to handle without me in your side while

you're growing, I felt bad of not watching you grow or celebrate together

your birthday. You seemed puzzled on my first sentence but it's time to

tell you the truth if Alejandro hesitant to tell you because  I know that you

will think that Mike is still your father and you need to hear it from me. 

Lauren, my baby girl, I hope you're well and Mike is not ruining your life like 

he always did after he gets high. Yes Lauren, whatever cross your mind, it was, 

he's a drug dealer and at the same time drug addict, I don't know when it was 

happened or I didn't know about it since from the start, but still I'm not regretting 

of what happened to me and Mike because I have you. I'm writing this because I want 

to left something that I know that could help you in the future, with your husband or 

wife? If you seemed confused about this, asked Alejandro and he will teach you and 

guide you, he already know what I meant, you are having his words, he will explain the

rest to you. Trust him. Lauren I love you with all my heart and I know you will grow as a 

wonderful young woman because you're my baby. I'm always at your side. I love you my baby

girl, mama always love you. Take care always. I love you. I'm so proud of you, knowing

that you're okay and living your life in the right way.

Clara-

LAUREN cried in silence after reading the letter that her mom left. She still remembered her mom's handwritten though she's still young to know that it was her mom's handwritten. She spends more time with her mom, they always bond and she was happy.

She will talk with Alejandro tomorrow she needs to know what her mom meant in the letter.

CAMILA never forget on what happened to her that night. She had a great time with Lauren like she'd never experience before and she wanted to experience it again or maybe everyday, yes everyday, she wanted to experience it everyday. That moment she had with Lauren was never happened between her and Shawn and nothing else.

"Lo—I hope we could do it again someday, I hope it will happen again," and she close her eyes with a smile on her lips then fell asleep.

LAUREN made a call to Alejandro the next day that she would be seeing him before she goes to school and Alejandro agreed. Austin is still sick so Lauren had the shop on her own today, so she told Alejandro to come to the shop.
