C H A P T E R  1

H e a r t h e

"Hearthe,I would be out for awhile!Would you like something when I'll come home?" Father shouted down stairs and I immediately think of what I wanted.

"Father,could you give me a red rose?" I shouted back.

"Anything for my angel". My sisters started to whisper and my father just laughed.

"How about you two?" Father asked.

"We would like perfumes and boots please" one of my sisters answered.

"Roses,perfumes and boots should it be then.Ok gotta get goin kids,see you again", Father waved his hand before going riding his horse.

I heaved a heavy sigh.I could say he'll be back after a few days or a week.

I started doing chores and so are my sisters.Well,I pretty much do light task and them having the heavy ones,my sisters are super kind and that is why I love them very very much.

After we ate our lunch, I went and start to wash the dishes.I also went to the market to buy our dinner. I let them get a rest and I'll do the dinner.

I went upstairs and pick out a book from my mom,yes my mom. She died not too long ago. Her death remained as a mystery.

I started to read a book that was titled as "The Beast". This story shows how a beast lives and some of the pages show how they portrait a beast.A chapter got my full attention, it is where a young lady had met this certain beast. She changed him completely. She showed him how to properly get dress and taught him proper manners,and the most suprising part was that they both fell in love.I think this story is somehow weird and unique at the same time for it was that how can a beast fall in love? This question was in my head for a minute now.

How would it feel to be loved by a beast?

"Hearthe!Come down stairs,dinner is served", Emily shouted.

"Going!",I shouted.

That question somehow bothered me because it is very unusual for me to ask.

As times pass by,this question keeps on ringing in my head.

To get it stopped, I have done some research.Some articles are telling that beasts exists and some tells it went extinct and some also tells it never been true.

I search for more information when I randomly typed 'how does a beast look like?' I went and checked pictures and all I could see is just a terribly big brown,black and silver colored wolfs,monsters and--wait what,a grufalo?HAHAHAHAHAHA

I went and write some informations on my notebook. My mom gave this to me.I filled this thing with things that had keep me interested. One of these were 'what will happen if Earth had rings, 2 moons, and another twin planet', well I just write down things that I learned when I have done some researchs about them. It was fun doing it actually.

I sighed and started to clean my table before heading straight to our balcony. I looked at the stars that are brightly shining in the dark sky. I always do stargazing before going to sleep. Breathing fresh air and observing the night sky is one of my hobbies.

I closed my eyes and feel the presence of the fresh air that surrounds me.I love doing this together with my mom back then. I didn't know when I started crying with the thought of mom not here. I remember when she always tells me stories and sing me to sleep. How she would be a mother and a friend at the same time to us.

I just miss you mom

It had been days and I'm planning to go home.I bought my daughters with what they wanted but I have been having a hard time finding a red rose.I heaved a heavy sigh before continuing my way.

Tonight,the wind started howling and the night sky turned gray.

I move quickly and luckily,I found--wait what,a castle--in a forest?

I went inside and I could tell that this place looks old. The trees weren't green and the castle looks like it hadn't been taken care for how so many years.

I continued to tour myself and found myself in a garden. How could the flowers bloom despite not taking care for them? I immediately looked for a red rose. It was many,I planned on getting plenty of them since it is countless. Hearthe would love this.

"How dare you enter my castle and rob my roses?",a dark and scary voice asked behind. I almost lost my hold with the flowers.

"M-My child wants a rose and I have thought that no one lives in this castle so I didn't ask permission. I'm sorry",Fred answered.

"Ang iyong paghingi ng tawad ay hindi ko maaring matanggap, ngunit sa isang kundisyon, kung dadalhin mo saakin ang pinakabata sa iyong mga anak, may tyansa ka pang mabuhay.Ito ang aalalahanin mo,babantayan ko ang bawat kilos mo"the beast said.

"M-Maraming sala--",I was cutten off.

"Ang aking mga alipin ay pupunta sa inyong tinitirahan at siya'y susunduin at ikaw naman,mananatili ka muna bilang isang preso sa aking kaharian",bigla nalang akong nanlumo, hindi ko alam ang gagawin ko.Kung ako'y mamamatay, sino na ang tutulong at magtataguyod ng nga anak ko?Paano na sila?

"W-Wala na bang ipang paraan?",sinubukan kong tanungin.

"Madali lang naman akong kausap,kung hindi mo maiibigay ang nais ko. Wala ka nang silbi pa at tatapusin ko na ang buhay mo",pananakot nito.

"N-Ngunit ang aking pinakabatang anak ay isang lalaki at ang dalawa ay babae",sabi ko dito.

"Wala na akong magagawa kundi ang tanggapin nalang siya dahil naibigay mo saakin ang nais ko at kung ito man ay mangyayari",sagot pa nito.

O Lord,what have I done?

For those who are confused,yung story po na ito ay written as taglish as in in english and tagalog.I hope you all enjoy my first chapter!Sensya na kung panget HEHEHEHEHE beginner pa lang kasi si otor.
