"Reporting live from outside Palazzo Altemeria, I'm Rosetta Caruso with ABN. Just a few minutes ago, the Queen Mother attempted to enter the palace but was denied entry by the Royal Guard that had served her just a few days ago. After refusing to obey the commands of one of the guards, she has been taken into custody by the Polizia di Reale. Our sources say she is being held in a transport truck that is making its way to the Government Estate. We will continue to bring-"
Domani turns the television off. It had been a long night but they were finally nearing Galdin Quay, the Kingdom of Lucis's busiest port of entry. As the former prince stands up from his chair, someone knocks on his room's door, "Come in!"
"Did you hear the news?" Nyx asks, opening the room's door with a keycard.
Domani opens the window blinds, revealing the sun slowly rising above the horizon, "I'm assuming you are referring to the situation in Altissia?"
"Yes," Nyx confirms, sitting on the chair Domani had stood up from, "Do you have any idea what's going on?"
He turns around, "Unfortunately, no. They haven't sent any messages or called. It is likely that they are still making their way to Lucis."
"But aren't they on an airship? They should've arrived hours ago."
Domani considers, "Yes... Yes, I suppose you're right. That is very strange..."
"You don't think something happened to them, do you?"
He turns back to the small window, watching the sunrise, "If Her Majesty has just half of the energy her mother has, I doubt she would let anything stand in her way."

And he was right. Nathan and the rest of the group had made it into Lucian airspace hours ago. The problem now was communicating with people on the ground.
"Ruzzini, what's our status?" Captain Volpato asks, turning to his navigator.
He shakes his head, "Niente, signore. We've lost our signal with any ground station and I cannot figure out our current location. Stiamo ufficialmente volando alla cieca."
"Uh... did he just say we're officially flying blind?" Nathan asks, trying to translate Accordoan out loud.
The captain nods, "Yes, he did... I am normally against panicking but I think this may be a worthy enough occasion."
"Do our Lucian friends have any ideas?" the navigator suggests, turning to face the three of them.
Nathan suddenly stands up, "Wait! What about the crystal? Can't you guys connect to it or something?"
"That may not be as stupid as it sounds," Denzel says, "What do you think, Major?"
Libertus holds his hands out and concentrates. For about a minute, the entire bridge is quiet as everyone holds their breath in anticipation.
