As the four of them anxiously wait outside the Chamberroom, Domani turns to Nathan, "Are you alright?"
Nathan nods even though he looks worried, "Yeah, I- I'm fine."
Rhea looks up at him with a confused expression and Vincent pulls the former prince aside, "Something's definitely up with him. He don't look like he okay," he whispers in a voice that Domani absolutely hates.
"Marshal Leonis will see you now. Mister Ulric will be here shortly," an attendant informs them, opening the Chamberroom's doors from the inside.
Domani waits for Nathan and Rhea to enter before turning to Vincent, "First of all, please stop using that aggravating... tone. Secondly, my guess is that he's feeling anxious about the hearing tomorrow. And finally, do behave yourself during the debrief. It's rather important."
The shorter of the two rolls his eyes but nods as they walk into the spacious room together. Its design is definitely something Vincent's never seen before so he takes a few seconds to admire the entire room. Domani hurries to join the other two as he takes a seat on Nathan's left side, closest to the dais.
Weird, where's the Marshal? Rhea thinks to herself, taking out her phone to snap a few furtive pictures. The attendant from before points out a better angle with her hands and Rhea can't help but smile appreciatively.
As Vincent begins making his way to them, Cor enters the room from an interior door. Domani immediately rises to his feet, the three others following promptly after. Nyx appears behind him, "Good afternoon, sorry for the wait."
"No problem. I must ask, however, Commodore Highwind and Mister Callux were also supposed to be present, yes?" Domani asks, naturally taking the lead after he notices that Nathan appears to be out of his element.
"They were debriefed separately," the Marshal replies, "If there are no other objections, follow me, please."
He takes them through the interior door, revealing a private meeting room of sorts. Cor takes his seat across the five of them before they do the same.
"I've gathered you all here today as I wish to discuss the events that have occurred since the Treaty Amendment Conference," he states plainly. He clears his throat before turning to Nathan and Domani, "I assume you two have read the documents?"
The governor general nods but doesn't say anything. He looks to Domani, urging him to speak.
"Yes, we have," he adds, trying to understand why his friend had decided to stop talking since they arrived.
Cor gives what can only be described as an affirmative grunt, "Good. Do you have any specific questions for me before I begin a more general debrief?"
