The blonde sits and stares at the large tombstone vandalized with black spray paint. The words written haunt her in a way that makes her uneasy. The black ink perminating her mind, forever etched along side the other vicious memories her father gifted her. Can she really call him that now?
"I thank you for the promises you broke." "For always watching, watching while I choke." "I thank you for teaching me."
But this was still her dad. The man who taught her how to ride a bike, change a tire and everything else in between. She angerly throws the garbage, beer cans, and other debris from his grave.
"I thank you for the hole you dug in me."
"Filled it with cement, sunk me in your sea." "Thank you for being so obscene."
The troubled blonde screams in despair. There is no one else around to hear her suffering. She screams so loudly and so long that not only her throat but her lungs hurt and burn. She loves the pain, and the misery. She feels like she deserves it.
"I'm stronger than I ever knew." "I am strong because of you."
With her tears dry on her skin, she realizes that she is strong. She overcame him, didn't kill him when she could have. She loved him anyways. She realizes that this doesn't make her a bad person, but instead makes her a better person. A stronger person."
"You wanna know why I like pain, you say? There's a sick part of me thankful for the hate, I, I, stay positive and I, I push forward, you see? I, I gotta do the right thing for my family! So I smile and say that the world is fine, as these fucking parasites eat up my spine, so I ask you once, and I ask you again where do your roots start And where do your roots end?"
