TWELVE MONTHS LATER

pulling away from their hug, zach and daniel crashed their lips together.

they held a kiss for as long as they could before they needed to pull back to catch some air.

"i love you so much baby, never let me stay away from you for that long ever again." daniel whispered as he went back to hugging him.

"trust me, i'm not letting it be that long again. no way."

daniel peppered the boy's neck in kisses, his arms wrapped securely around zach's torso while the youngers were around his neck.

"happy one year my love." daniel spoke lowly, placing another kiss to his lips. "happy one year."

"are you ready to meet thea?" "ah! yes! where is my little god-daughter."

daniel beamed even more so than he was before. "she's at home with jack right now."

the two finally pulled back from each other, corbyn diving in for a hug. "hey corb, how you feeling?"

"very tired. constantly. but it's all worth it." the blonde smiled. "okay let's go so you can meet your god-daughter."

zach and daniel connected their hands, keeping their bodies close to each other as they left the airport, fans had been outside and started screaming when they saw him walk out.

daniel said hello to a few of them, trying to pass through all of them and go home.

which he knew he would feel a little guilty about later, not taking the time to be with his fans, but all he wanted to do was be with zach today.

while jonah went to pull the car up, that's when he did stop and talk to some fans. "how long have you guys been dating?" was what one of his fans had asked.

"one year today," daniel smiled as he locked his eyes on zach. "and i couldn't be any happier."

he spoke lowly, leaning down and placing his lips to zach's. "i love you so much." the younger mumbled.

"i love you so much more." daniel giggled, and several fans awed at them. even corbyn did.

"guys, c'mon. jack made food i'm hungry!" corbyn rushed them along when jonah pulled up.

the two didn't move though, continuing to talk to some fans. which they, in a way, expected them to only ask daniel questions but they were asking some to zach too.

daniel's fans genuinely wanting to get to know him. not because he was daniel's boyfriend, but because they really did want to know him.

"are you in school right now?" one asked, "yeah, second year university." zach nodded.

"what are you studying?" a girl, who didn't look that much younger than zach, wondered.

"english. writing, mainly. i want to be an author." he smiled, "oh my god! if you put out a book i would so read it!" she said.

"well thank you, i'll keep that in mind." daniel just admired the boy as he had conversations with the girls.

"also.. i think it's really disrespectful that some fans followed you guys all the way to your place, that's total invasion of privacy."

"well, unless we move i'm not sure what we could do about that, but i'm not really mad." zach smiled.

"zach!" corbyn dragged the name out, getting the younger to turn his head to the blonde, "what!" he mimicked.

"excuse me mister don't mock me." he joked, "whatever.. what is it?"

"jack's making more lasagna rolls." zach and daniel's mouths both dropped, "okay! sorry we're leaving now."

zach half joked. for zach, the amount of love he felt for those lasagna rolls was almost as much as he felt for daniel.

they got in the car, driving off toward the apartment complex.

walking inside, there was jack with thea on his shoulder, patting her back, "she just ate," he spoke softly as he saw them come in.

he passed thea to corbyn as he gave daniel a hug. "how you been bud?" "i'm okay, i'm okay." jack nodded, cracking a smile.

truth is, not everything was okay for jack. since he and nick started officially dating, you know it started off fine, but now nick is being so distant and it's worrying him.

"okay... dani, meet thea marie." corbyn spoke like jack had previously.

after daniel had his moment with thea, he sat on the couch, holding her with zach cuddled next to him.

"i've missed you." zach mumbled, "i was fully prepared to spend this day sad and alone because you wouldn't be here, but you are."

"i am baby, i am. i'm here for a while, you don't have to worry about me leaving again for a long time."
