Zak POV

People never seem to remember the important things.

The things that matter.

People remember the time we played truth or dare at 3:00 am.

But do they remember what I told them when I picked truth?

The huge secret I told them about?

Do they remember when I tried everything in my power to show them that I was not okay?

Do they remember the hints I gave them that are my way of screaming 'help me'?

No.

Because those things are ignored, pushed to the back of your mind,

Because they only remember the things that don't matter.

Darryl POV

Zak was acting a little off today. He kept asking me questions that he wouldn't normally ask, like:

What's your worst habit?

If you had to choose the way you would die, what would it be?

Have you even been addicted to anything?

That confused me, because he usually doesn't talk about things like that. He's always so cheerful, never sad.

There was a point that he was acting a bit too cheerful. Seeming to be trying so hard to be happy.

But now it seems like he gave up on that.

He does these little things that show that the happiness is just an act.

And I seem to be the first to notice.

Zak POV

Now it seems like I'm falling deeper and deeper into a pit of darkness.

And I'm calling their names but no one's listening.

Because the things that are forgotten, are the things that matter.

I really want to do a part two on thisss

Would you guys want a part two?
