"I.. I--WHAT?!"

To say that Zenitsu was shocked right now was.. Definitely an understatement.

Here he was, sitting in front of Shinobu, with an unreadable expression. He approached the Insect pillar with hopes that she would have answers to his questions..

Questions that mostly centered around how he feels about his friend, (Y/N).

"Uh.. Well.. I feel tingly when I see him, I want to be with him more often, I get angry if I see him with someone else.. T-though I don't know why? And I also want to stick by his side, touch him, protect him--"

"You love him."

".. What?"

"Zenitsu, you love (Y/N)"

"THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!!" Zenitsu finally spoke up after the long silence, causing Shinobu to chuckle "Are you sure? You're blushing right now."

"I'm not!!"

"Your face is red."

"B-BECAUSE I'M EMBARRASSED!!"

"Are you sure~? Or is it because your heart is beating quickly to the thought of being with your precious "friend"?"

"I-I.."

She was right though, she was right about everything. He was in love with (Y/N) and he knew that.

... He's gay??

"But I like girls.." he pouted as he looked to the side, which made Shinobu chuckle again "You can like both. It's okay."

"... I-Is it really okay?"

"Yes, it's okay. How about you go talk to him about this? He's outside, training alone."

Zenitsu stood with shaky legs and nodded, leaving the room and walking to the area he knew his.. Crush would be in. He was clutching his chest tightly in excitement.

Excitement? Was it excitement..?

He froze after hearing familiar panting and grunting. Peeking outside, he could see the man he was looking for.. Training with his breathing technique.

Upon noticing Zenitsu, he stopped and turned to the side with a sweet smile "Zenitsu! Wanna train with me?" he offered as he began to walk towards the blond.

He smiled a little, cheeks still warm as he walked closer until they were both standing in front of one another "Uh.. Actually.. I just wanted to chill with you"

They both sat together, with Zenitsu listening to the soft humming coming from (Y/N) "This is nice, y'know? Hanging out.. Chilling.. Without Inosuke trying to kill you." Zenitsu chuckled at the remark and looked at (Y/N) with a wider smile "Yeah, being with you is amazing."

Though Zenitsu hasn't told him his true feelings.. It was safe to say that their friendship got stronger.

The day continued on with them sitting close to one another, not minding that their skin was touching.. And their hands were in one another's.

One could say that their feelings were reciprocated, and they didn't need to mention anything to know that it was.
