RACHEL'S POV:

I just sat there, on top of Chris, half-naked, and blankly stared at Drew. Wating for his reaction. He stood there for a while, trying to comprehend what he just saw. I felt so awkward. It was like the drink had worn off, and I realized what was going on. I was hooking up with some stranger behind his back. I told myself with shame. I finally got up, grabbed a leopard-print robe from my closet, picked up Chris's shirt and pants from off the floor, and handed it to him.

Mad, Drew quickly stormed to Chris and shoved him into the wall.

"How could you Chris?! I trusted you!" he exclaimed, his face red with anger.

"Sorry" Drew said, with no true sorrow in his voice.

"Sorry? Sorry?! Sorry doesn't cut it! We were best friends! Why would you do this to me?!" Drew yelled. All these questions Drew asked, he could not answer. And neither could I. I felt stupid for letting Chris into my life. I was clueless, and I had no idea that it was considered "cheating". One minute I'm on an innocent outing with him. The next, I'm about to fuck him. Why am I such a slut? I asked myself.

I shook out of my daze, and turned my attention back to the craziness that was going on right beside me. When I looked, I saw something that looked like it came straight out a scene from a horror movie. Chris was on the floor with Drew on top of him, punching him. Chris's face was bloody. I couldn't bare it. I knew Drew was pissed, but it was still no reason to hit him.

"Stop!" I shouted, breaking in between them.

Drew stopped punching him. He looked satisfied as he stood back and looked at his masterpiece: Chris's bloody face. "Drew, I know your mad, but don't take your anger out on him. It..it was all my fault." I stuttered.

"I'll talk to you later about this! But I can't believe it's Chris...my ex-best friend." he said.

"Huh? You know each other? You're friends?" I said confused.

"We WERE friends." Drew answered.

"Get out!" he ordered to Chris.

Chris quickly put on his pants and walked out the room in shame. Drew slammed the apartment door so hard, that I think that people in China could feel it from thousands of miles away. I dreaded what would happen next. I new he would be heated...because...to be honest, I would've been just as pissed if he did this with another person. So I couldn't blame him, but I didn't want to blame myself either. "What the fuck, Rachel! What happened? Why?!!" he exasperated.

"I'm sorry...I just...just" I mumbled. I guess I couldn't find the right words to apologize. There was no excuse for my mistake.

"You just what?!" he blared at me.

"It all started when I got a call from him. He asked me to meet up with him at a restaurant, so I agreed. I didn't know it was him at the time, so I wanted to find out who it was. That is where I was the night you prepared dinner for me." I confessed.

"Oh! So not only did you cheat...but you lied. Yeah! That is for sure a great way to keep a good relationship." he said with sarcasm. I looked down and mentally punched myself in the face for not telling Drew.
