RACHEL'S POV:
While driving in my car on the way to my former house, I thought of all the possibilities that could happen. Would May get upset, and shut the door in my face? Or would she out of the blue be understanding? I guess the only way to find out is to show up. I pulled my Lamborghini into the houses' driveway. I sat in my car and debated whether to beg her to let me in or not. I realized I had no choice, so I got out of the car and slowly walked up to the door.
I then reluctantly rang the door bell. I could hear footsteps coming down the stairs and braced myself for what was to come. She opened the door.
"Hi" I mumbled, hiding my face behind my hair. May's jaw dropped to the floor in shock. "Um, hi darling. I wasn't expecting to see you here." she said with her hands on her hips. I slowly stepped inside. "Listen, I know you don't want to hear all this "I'm sorry" crap, but-"
"Shh.." she whispered while putting her slightly wrinkled fingers on my lips. "I understand." she confessed. Wow, I would've never thought in a million years that May would say that....EVER. Maybe she was finally opening up. "Thank you. And...and...I'm sorry." I said. "It's alright sweetie..It's alright" May said while dragging me into a enormous hug. I have to admit, the hug was really awkward but yet comforting. It was pretty weird because....I mean, May has never given me a single hug. But it was comforting because in the past couple of days, I had no one to turn to. But now, I did.
"Cmon' inside." she said while gesturing me inside. She then closed the door and led me into the kitchen. She immediately started to boil some water. "Would you like some tea?" she offered. "No," I replied.
"Are you sure? You don't know what your missing!" she warned. I know I don't really like her, but to be honest, May could cook. She could cook the most disgusting-sounding dish and make it taste phenomenal.
"Ok, fine. I'll have some." I said. She poured the tea inside a cup and set it down on the table. "Bon Appetite!" she exclaimed.
"So, where have you been?" she asked. In response, I told her what happened. But I lied...sort of. I told her the reason I left was because I missed this home, instead of the truth. But really, I couldn't care less about this house. The only thing I loved about this house was because my dad was there. But now that he's gone, this home means nothing to me.
We talked and talked about irrelevant things. The weather, news, and shit like that. I just wanted the chit-chat to end. But she kept on sucking me back into the conversation. She needs to learn how to shut up when she needs to.
Finally, the eternal conversation ended. Exhausted, I took a shower and slipped on a blue spaghetti-strap tank top and some black gym shorts. I put my hair up in a messy bun and tried to sleep. But surprisingly I couldn't. Even though I was tired as fuck, I couldn't seem to find rest. So I just layed there thinking about him which only made matters worse.

The next morning, I woke up screaming and crying. I had a dream that I cheated on Drew for some stupid reason, and ended up back at May's house. Good thing that was just a dream, and that I'm still here at Drew's apartment.
