"Yes she's very timid and shy. Why have you called me here Your Majesty?"

The Queen turned in her chair and faced Mary. Mary held in a gasp as she looked upon the Queen's face. A long black scar was stretched thin across her face. It ran over her nose and across her forehead.

"Ah yes that. Well, there is news that a certain vampire was seen leaving this estate after having spied on Lisa." The Queen said knitting her hands together and giving Mary a serious stare.

"Who's Lisa?" Mary asked. The Queen laughed.

"I forgot you're still new here well Lisa is a recently turned Fae. Well the vampires have taken quite a liking to her and I would like to see if you could get any information from Lisa about any vampires she knew before she turned Fae." The Queen finished up taking a brush and brushed her hair.

"Will do your majesty. Anything else?" Mary asked. The Queen paused, the hairbrush halfway through her hair.

"Yes well I would prefer it if you didn't tell any more of the servants of your past or Fae kind."

Mary's face turned to confusion but quickly recovered before the Queen could see.

"Why not?"

"Well, the servants will talk and well soon the whole town will talk and we don't want that."

"No we don't."

"Good now Lisa is in the gardens with her trainer. Speaking of which how do you like your trainer?"

"He's very handsome and kind."

"Good. Now hurry along."

Mary left the Queen's chambers and headed towards the gardens. It was a warm day outside and the wind was warm against Mary's skin as she stepped into the gardens. The sweet fragrance of lilys hit Mary's nose. She could hear laughter coming from the stream. She followed the laughter and came across Lisa.

She was sitting on the stream bank with her head on a guys shoulder. They looked like the perfect picture, so taking the opportunity she took out her phone and snipped a picture. The sound of the picture being taken made Lisa and the other guy turn around. The guy had blonde curly hair, blue as the ocean eyes, and white skin. He must be a sun Fae,thought Mary.

Lisa on the other hand had half brown hair and half black hair. Her eyes matched her hair and her skin was a dark brown. She smiled  warmly when she saw Mary.

"Hey Mary right?" She said standing up.

"Yea and your Lisa?" Mary asked moving closer to the couple.

"Here in the flesh. Oh and this is Blake." She said motioning to the guy beside her.

"Hey." He said waving.

"Hi." Mary said. "So Lisa can we talk over here?" She motioned to a bench away from the stream which wasn't in hearing range of Blake. Lisa's face turned to worry, she had worried about someone coming up and asking her about her and Blake for a while but she didn't think it was this soon. Nevertheless she nodded and smiled at Blake reassuringly.

Mary walked Lisa over to the bench and sat down. Lisa found a leaf and started playing with it. Mary noticed this and watched her for a while before speaking up.

"Umm Lisa do you perhaps have any connections with the vampire clan?" Lisa's face turned to relief and she nodded vigorously.

"Yes I do."

"Really? Well you wouldn't perhaps know anyone by name there would you?" Again Lisa nodded vigorously.

"Yes let's see. There's the Vampire King, I don't remember what his name was, then there's the Captain. His name is just Captain nothing else. We use to talk all the tome before I got turned. In fact, we were very close." Lisa said turning towards Mary and ticking names off of her finger. Mary nodded and listened while countless names were rambled off by Lisa.

It was a few minutes later before Lisa had finished naming every name she could think of.

"Oh and there's one more. She has a special attachment to the King." Lisa's face turned hard. "She never liked me, but that might just be because of me being a human. Her name is Layna. I believe Captain told me that Layna was in love with the king." Mary's eyebrows rose in surprise.

"In love with the king you say?" Mary asked standing up.

"Yes. Is that all?" Lisa asked hoping to return to Blake. Mary paused.

"Yes." She said finally. Lisa smiled and walked back to the stream. Mary watched her go then headed off towards the Queen's chambers for the second time today. She had news that the Queen would surely enjoy, but what would the Queen do with the information?

Abel sighed and ran his fingers through his hair. The hours had gone by without Abel knowing. He had been working on contacting the Werewolf Prince but so far had no luck. The werewolf's were very isolated during this time of the year.

And they didn't like disturbances at all.

"Excuse your majesty?" A servant said from the office door.

"Yes?" Abel said banging his head on the desk.

"A letter has arrived for you sir." Abel's head jotted up from the desk.

"Really?" Hope bloomed in Abel's chest. The servant nodded and pulled a letter from his pocket. He laid it on the desk and bowed before leaving.

The letter had the Werewolf Prince's symbol on it. Abel captures the letter and tore it open his eyes scanned the page as he read. He looked a mess. His clothes were shivered, wrinkled, and crumpled. His hair was a messy. The black messing with the gold. Bags were under his eyes making him look like he didn't sleep at all which was the case.

"Ah ha!" He exclaimed running out of the office .
