Chapter 4

King Ryan Williams,the man I pissed off at the airport. Everybody is looking at me expecting me to respond ,which I hotheadedly do saying "You have no right to tell me how long I stay with my family!" I say in one breath "I deserve to know " he said cooly placing his hands in his pockets"who the hell are you to demand information ....." He cut me off "Am the king " throwing his title at me you have got to be kidding me "I don't care if you're Jesus's brother,keep your unusually long nose out of my business" I said clicking my fingers right in his face "You could put that mouth of yours to good use " he said stepping closer making our noses touch,I was a bit shocked then infuriated when my mind registered what he said,I took two steps back then slapped him making everybody gasp mostly Arthur yet Pappi grinned like a fool which is completely normal.

"How dare you think so lowly of me?you might be the King but you clearly need an MRI " I said feeling totally naked after what he just said, its good  black girls don't blush coz I'd be red as a tomato right now"You're new around here so I'll forgive you this once but reme......." He was cut off by a loud "Honey am home!" This seemed to piss Ryan off a bit coz the moment my dear big brother walked in he started radiating a really powerful aura that sent shivers down my spine. Everybody went quite, the whole room had (this is really crazy) dark clouds INSIDE!!   Right now am seriously regretting slapping him but he can't know that he,however he was currently initiated  in a staring contest with Kelvin "so, I don't remember going invisible" I said pulling an innocent face "Nah,sup lil sis from another miss" Kelvin said hugging and lifting me in the air I laugh which was a real help coz it clear out the 'aura'.

 Kelvin and I are /were best friends since kindergarten,he was like an older brother everybody else thought so too but after his parents died when he was 13 Pappi adopted him. Ryan was just looking at us intensely, "Well, I don't mean to break up this lovely family moment but I do  believe we have business to discuss" he said really creepily yet so cooly he really confuses me. Everybody shook like zombies who just got a command ,weird right? They all left more like followed Ryan into Pappi's office even Kelvin leaving me with Mila

"So when did you meet him?" Mila said smiling so widely "At the airport" I said taking steps towards the staircase "Did you....." I cut her off knowing what she's gonna say"Start a  fight,yes I did" I said taking steps up the the stairs "I'll let you freshen up but we need to talk!" Mila half yelled from the bottom of the stairs. I got freshened up and sat on my bed still thinking about what happened downstairs, that aura is extraordinarily powerful its more powerful than an Apha King's ,its more like that of a god  but more controlled also why was he exchanging looks with Kelvin ? I decided to take a nap before dinner but my plans were interrupted by a text from Georgia 

"We found more information on Duncan turns out he's in Baltimore trying to re-establsh the academy, so far he's kidnapped over 120 young girls and 110 boys according to Mike's report, he also sent two amateurs after Tasha but she got out with some information,will keep you informed kisses."

Duncan Demins  aka cause of all my problems I know  I have a lot if issues but am trying to work them out,I will say one thing about Ryan he is really definetly dangerous I need to stay out of his eye view for a while. Mila had someone call me down for dinner and surprise, The King was seated and the only empty seat was next to him ,I took a deep breath and sat down prepared my plate and started eating despite the eyes shooting holes from the side of my face "Take a picture it'll last longer" I whispered making him chuckle and get everyone's attention and the last thing I need right now is a scene "So how long are you staying?" Ryan asked innocently forgetting why we had an argument earlier "How long will you allow me your majesty?" I said pretending to care,Ryan seemed angered by this comment coz he banged his fists on the table and stood up" I tried being nice but you are something else...." I cut him off"What's that suppose to mean?"

 I said and the aura came back as his eyes turned dark blue" Means if you provoke me one more time it won't be good for you"he said as he turned my chair to face him and everybody else just looked at us like they're watching a TV show "Don't be so sure" I said crossing my arms against my chest "Try me" these words sent shivers down my spine "whoa,man calm down,"Kelvin made his way to us and tapped Ryan's shoulder,Ryan turned to face Pappi who seemed completely ignorant of this situation" Charles its only out of respect for you that I haven't harmed her,"Ryan said pointing at me with his eyes  closed "As if you can" I said turning back to my food and he clenched his fists so hard I thought he was gonna bleed yet he didn't say anything he only walked out of the dining room and I said "good riddens ol king Cole" and the last thing we heard was something like the strike of lighting on a metal sutace.

I got all sorts of weird looks from everyone at the table"Really?? " Mila asked raising a brow at me" what?? "I saidnstuffing my face and grabbing Ryan's plate"its not like he's gonna come back for it" I said when Mila and Arthur gave me a weird look "Not until you leave,now am sure you were raised right" Pappi said and  highfived him over the table"There's something seriously wrong with you two"Mila said standing up "And you're gonna tell mom about it?" I asked her and Pappi said "Ta tall tell" sometimes he acts like he is still a kid when he's 76 years old
