Peri's POV

I stood close to Lazily as she glared at Lapis. I held onto Lazily's shirt and Peridot held the side of Lapis's dress, Amethyst walked over "guys everything okay over here". Lazily and Lapis answered without breaking eye contact "fine" they said in unison. This wasn't going to end well...
Amethyst pulled Lazily away to calm her leaving ME COMPLETELY EXPOSED TO THIS MAD GEM HERE!!!! I was to busy complaining to myself when Peridot walked up behind me "Lapis really likes you" I nodded "well Lazily really likes you" we lightly laughed and kept talking. Peridot is really nice, and that's when I found out she was an ear 3 gem, unlike me who is an era 2. Peridot was talking about how she met Lapis, which I found to be an interesting conversation "how did you and Lazily meet" I nervously laughed "it's a long story". She shrugged "you listened to my story, I wanna hear yours" I shrugged "fine".

Flashback Story Time

It was around the start of era 3 when I heard about it...A mistake was made, a Lapis formed far to close to the Ruby's. I was one of the Peridot's assigned to go 'fix' the mistake. I was sent with ten Quartz soldiers and two other Peridot's, we walked for days until we reached scorched lands, gem shards everywhere, some even corrupted. We fought our way through until we reached a volcano.

We couldn't see, but we managed. There was water swirling at the bottom of the volcano, one Jasper just walked through. We where about to follow but a large lava hand came down and crushed the Jasper, we stood shocked. Until a Jasper next to me was crushed, out of fear we sprinted through the water and up there volcano. An Amethyst was crushed and a Peridot fell into lava, but by the time we got to the top most of us where separated. Except me, I had no one, so I kept going toward the top and eventually got there. I looked and saw a Lapis with fire wings and the tips of her hair where red as well as some parts of the skin. I could see the lava and fire swirling around in her gem, I took a step backwards and kicked a rock making her turn towards me. There where streaks of lava going down her face....She was crying. I slowly reached out but she flinched backwards "I-I won't h-hurt you" I told her, she didn't seem to believe me. Her voice had an echo to it, as if there different people where talking at once "how to I know your not like THEM" she held me over the lava with a water hand. Won't lie to you the water was boiling hot and was actually burning me "y-your defective right, well I am too" she tilted her head to the side "how". I squeezed my hand out and away from the water one then lifted my bangs

"See, I have things wrong with me" she moved closer to me and I gently wiped the lava tears away......burning my hand in the process. She unwraped the boiling water around me and picked me up and held me "so we are the same" she asked her voice calm as she moved back to the ground and set me down. Her gem was now ocean blue and she just looked like a normal Lapis. After that we just ran away together.

Flashback End

I smiled to myself "....and that's how we met" I looked up and Peridot had Stars in her eyes. "PERI THAT WAS AMAZING, IT WAS LIKE A LOVE STORY LIKE IN CAMP PINNING HEARTS, which we should most definitely watch together sometime" i laughed as we continue to talk more about this 'Camp Pinning Hearts' for a long time. Then I saw water rise up from the corner of my eye "oh no"....
