While Sodalite and Spinel were occupied Onyx slides off onto her hoverboard heading off somewhere she wouldn't be easily found. Ending up in on a lush hilltop area, Onyx sat in the grass looking out and down at the vast greenery. Onyx was a strong gem, having great control over her emotions and remaining devoted to her Diamond even if she was mad at her. However, the recent events with Black Diamond severely hurt Onyx, more than her breakup with Spinel and Sodalite did. While Onyx didn't have any romantic relations or intentions with Black Diamond the comfort, love, and trust she had in her had broken, effectively breaking Onyx's spirit towards what she's been doing for the entirety of her existence. Trying to change were her mind was going to no avail eventually brought Onyx to tears. She sat there alone feeling utter worthlessness toward the Diamond she loved and served for so very long. Falling over to her side continuing to cry she didn't notice both Hematite and Serendibite watching from a distance. Both knew the source of her pain opting to contact Black Diamond. "My dear Hematite what a plea..." Black Diamond started to say but stopped herself noticing tears in both Hematite and Serendibite's eyes. Both point towards the crying Onyx as Hematite rotated the communicator for Black Diamond to see. Black Diamond looked in shock and regret as she saw Onyx laying in the grass crying. To add more to the unruly sight hearing Onyx, yell her name. Unable to watch nor listen anymore Black Diamond ended the transmission. Hematite and Serendibite leaving Onyx as they figured they had little to offer Onyx in the way of comfort. It would be night by time Onyx had stopped crying. She sat back up staring up at the glowing moon in the night sky. Even in the faint light of the moon Onyx didn't fail to notice a shadow approaching her. The footsteps were heavy for it to be a human but also too heavy for it to be anyone on her team. She stood and turned around to face her guest only to be surrounded by dark cloak then pulled into a rather large bosom. Hearing the soft whimper of the much larger gem it wasn't until the wind blew the cloak from around her that Onyx realized it was Black Diamond who was embracing her. Onyx started to say something, but Black Diamond spoke first."Onyx, rarely anything or anyone, not even Serendibite, has ever afflicted me so greatly that it made me act on impulse. Onyx, I hope that my deeds will help in repairing our relationship I have so recklessly broken. I can't bear to see you in tears like this because of me." Black Diamond says pulling Onyx from her chest to look her teary eyes to teary eyes. "I love you more than you think Onyx, having to maintain my image as a Diamond hindered my ability to show it but not anymore. You will come to understand how much I truly appreciate what you do for me and how much I love you real soon. Just give me a little more time ok?" Black Diamond asks and Onyx can't help but nod with a soft smile."I'm truly sorry I hurt you Onyx, I will make it up to you I promise." Black Diamond says giving Onyx a kiss on her forehead. "I have to go finish what I started; I will be back soon my dear." Black Diamond says Onyx trying to speak but unable to find the words. Onyx watched as Black Diamond ascended back in the direction of homeworld on her personal ship. Onyx making her way back home. Once she arrived home to the entirety of the team, she looked dumbfounded. "Onyx!" Everyone yelled pouncing on her. "What on Earth is going on." She says being knocked to the floor. "There was a ship floating around from Homeworld and it was dropping smoke pillars everywhere, so everyone hid inside. All the smoke made it pitch black out and nobody could see. We were worried because Hematite and Serendibite said you were far away." Sodalite says as everyone got up including Onyx. "Did you not see any of it?" She asked. "Not the smoke I saw the ship."She says a sudden realization hit her and Onyx began to blush uncontrollably. "What?" Sodalite says. "She blinded the area so she could come comfort me without causing alarm." Onyx says the group confused."Who?" Sodalite says a creeping smile and tear failing from Onyx's eye. "Black Diamond." The entirety of the team stood in shock especially Serendibite and Hematite. "She's doing something big." Onyx says turning to Serendibite. "I knew it from the moment she sent you back." Onyx says. "I wish I could confirm or deny that, but I can't Black Diamond doesn't speak much on her motives." Serendibite says. "While you had a good point to being in the team, Serendibite there was uncertainty in your voice." "Yeah Black Diamond told me too, and I wanted too but she didn't tell me why." Serendibite says. "I guess we'll find out soon enough." Everyone stayed at Onyx's house chatting while Onyx went outside and sat on the roof of the house. Spinel noticed her wander off and followed her coming to sit next to Onyx on the roof. "And you wonder why I don't like leaving you by yourself sometimes." Spinel says Onyx leaning to rest her head on Spinel's shoulder. "Sorry." She says softly. "I'll be the first to tell you,Black Diamond coming here like that is frightening." Spinel says. "Why?" Onyx asks. "She's a Diamond Onyx, the half of our team are targets to the Other Diamonds and she works with them." "Spinel, she has said it before, but I'll say it again. She already knows you three are here, she knows I associate with you three and she knows you're wanted. But she doesn't care. It's not her concern." Onyx says. "She won't turn you guys in." "I sure hope not." "She'd cause a fight if she did." Onyx says. "Onyx." A voice says from below Onyx sitting up from Spinel's shoulder to see Tasha. She jumped down from the roof to meet her on the porch. "What's up Tasha?" "What was that darkness? Everyone in San Delros is concerned." Onyx nods. "Spread word they have nothing to worry about, a certain visitor wanted to be unseen, but they are gone now. No threats or dangers are lurking." Onyx says and Tasha nods. "The guys want to see you as well if you have the time." Onyx nods and follows Tasha, Spinel coming along. Tasha brought the two gems to her home were Arashii and Ray were waiting. Heading into the basement Tasha brought them to were Arashii and Ray were waiting."Onyx is here along with..." before Tasha could finish Arashii had ran up on Onyx pushing her against the wall with a blade to her neck. Before Arashii could say anything, he was struck by Spinel who had kicked him in the gut with enough force that it sent him flying back across the room leaving an imprint on the concrete wall. "Arashii!" Tasha exclaimed running over to him. Onyx bewildered at both Arashii's actions and Spinel's response. Ray just sat and watched unamused at first then laughed once Arashii was launched into the wall. "I told you that was a bad idea." He says walking too Onyx and Spinel. "My apologies Onyx, Arashii has been very unsettled by the dark shroud that happened and believes you are to blame." Ray says shrugging his shoulders Onyx nods readjusting her outfit making her breasts bounce a bit make Ray blush and promptly look away. Tasha pulling Arashii out of the wall and helping him to stand. "I'm sorry Onyx I didn't know he was going to do that." Tasha says Onyx dismissing the action but nudging Spinel. Spinel nods and grabs Arashii from Tasha and drops him in front of Onyx. "You know for someone who wants to be an ally of mine you sure are quick to jump the fence and accuse me of something when you know nothing about me." Onyx says kicking Arashii over onto his back and sitting on him. "Because you are clearly blinded by your emotions to think rationally, I'll let this one slide." Onyx says bending down further to her tits coming to rest on his upper chest making him blush uncontrollably. "Next time you put your hands on me without permission." She says changing to a deathly glare. "You'll be lucky if you survive the beat down that follows." Onyx says with a cheeky smile getting off him and offering a hand up. Arashii takes her hand to come and stand and immediately bows. "Forgive me Onyx. My fear and anger were unwarranted towards you." Onyx perks a brow. "What do you mean.""Long ago that same shroud came over the area and a Diamond appeared in mostly Black. This was before the land became a neutral zone, but she slaughtered many humans seemingly without reason." Arashii say coming back to stand with a glare in eyes. "She murdered our parents." He stated coldly. "While I don't doubt Black Diamond murdered your parents, I do doubt it was without reason." She says. "Yes, the black shroud was caused by me, but she came and went so get a grip." Onyx says returning her attention to Tasha. "So, any other issues?" "Who is she?" Arashii says holding his stomach pointing to Spinel. "I'm Spinel." She said flatly. "I don't tolerate any strangers putting their hands on my babe, even more so with a blade to her neck. You're lucky I have respect for Onyx's involvement with you all or else you'd be deep in the ground for that. Don't let it happen again." Spinel barks. "It won't happen again." Arashii said with a hint of fear in his voice and Spinel smirks. After the tension calmed down a bit more Tasha addressed the group. "So, Onyx will Spinel be getting involved in your work?" Onyx nods. "Yes, Spinel and my other girl." "Sodalite right?"Tasha asks and Onyx and Spinel nod. "While neither of them is classified as mercenaries like me and Arashii they can fill the bill easily." Tasha nods. "I am aware your group gets requests quite often. Well I will have a job for you and Arashii soon you too need to mesh better." Onyx and Arashii nods. "Until then just do what you do." Tasha says escorting Onyx and Spinel out."Interesting meeting don't you think?" Onyx says and Spinel nods. "Thanks for defending me like that, it was nice of you, and pretty sexy." Onyx says blushing a bit and Spinel blushes. "It was nothing just doing what I feel like I should as your girlfriend." Spinel says rubbing the back of her head with an embarrassed smile. As the two continued to walk through San Delros Hematite ran up to them. "Onyx! Spinel! Come quickly!" Hematite says grabbing their hands and dragging them home with the quickness of a cheetah. Once they got home Hematite took Onyx's, Serendibite's, and her Diamond communicator and linked them together to form a big screen as there was a broadcast coming from homeworld. "They can't see us, right?" Benitoite asks. "They can if they look but Black Diamond insist,we all watch this together. It affects all of us." Benitoite nods somewhat skeptical and nervous but trusting her teammate. White, Black, and Purple Diamond came into view, the crowd of gems silencing and bowing at their presence. "Attention, Homeworld gems, earth gems, and gems across the universe." White Diamond began. "I have issued this broadcast to bring forward some important news. As many of you may recall, Orange Diamond was shattered sometime ago, after some interrogations where ministered we found out those who were in attendance when she was shattered and who did it, We also know the location of the Benitoite who damaged Purple Diamond." White Diamond says cause Benitoite to shiver. "However, both Benitoite and the pair of gems that shattered Orange Diamond have been working in compliance with Black Diamond over the last few years on Earth, Black Diamond opting not to reveal this information until now due to a conflict of interest." White Diamond goes on,Purple Diamond having a noticeable scowl on her face. "So, after speaking with both Black Diamond, and Purple Diamond on these two issues at hand I have ultimately come to a decision to remove the sentences on Benitoite, Spinel and Sodalite for their crimes. They no longer must live in fear of being reprimanded by homeworld, if they remain under the service of Black Diamond for the rest of their existence." White Diamond says turning to face the Shadow Gems transmission screen was. "You gems are welcome back to homeworld anytime I have pardoned your actions, but I can't say everyone will forgive you, but no one is allowed to hurt you here." She says returning her attention to the crowd. "Now the other order of importance comes in concerns to Earth. Black Diamond has alerted me of the continuous degradation of the materials and conditions of the planet so she had volunteered to personally see to it the Earth will not continue to degrade and will return the planet to its self-sustainable manner. Which means until then Black Diamond will no longer be here on homeworld with us but will reside on Earth." Once White Diamond said this all the Shadow Gems eyes went wide in shock. "Any gem on Earth will answer to Black Diamond if she demands it, however she decides to move forward with her plans is up to her and me nor Purple Diamond will have any interventions. So, if any Earth gems serve Purple Diamond wishing to stay under her service, return to homeworld to be reassigned. That concludes this broadcast, you all are dismissed." White Diamond says with an emphatic bow the gems coming to salute and the transmission ending after that. The entire group was silent for a long while; Benitoite, Spinel, and Sodalite still in shock but Onyx, Hematite, and Serendibite all have a look of arrogance on their face. "Well done Onyx." Hematite says. "You have struck the last hit to make Black Diamond come to us." Serendibite nods."While I may have been the last hit, you were the first." Onyx says and the three bows to each other. "Our Diamond is coming to stay here with us, it is undeniable proof that Black Diamond's love is stronger than her devotion to the Authority." Serendibite says. "It is an honor to be loved by a Diamond." Onyx says. "An honor that we will never forsake." Hematite says taking their communicators right as Black Diamond was sending transmission. "Well Shadow Gems, in a few short hours I will make my arrival onto Earth. I expect you all to be present when I land in the valley. Black Diamond says drawing the attention of the other 3 gems. "I will discuss my actions when I arrive until then just be ready." She says ending the transmission. Onyx, Hematite and Serendibite continues to sing praise upon Black Diamond while a wave a relief and freedom had invaded Benitoite, Sodalite, and Spinel. The crew made their way out of Onyx's house to the valley to await Black Diamond's arrival. Black Diamond probably made her arrival location public because it wasn't long before both humans and gems began to flood the valley. Starting to be overwhelmed by the crowd and the noise Onyx snuck herself away, going up to sit on a nearby hill that overlooked the valley. She noticed Spinel looking around somewhat frantically. She assumed she was looking for her so when Spinel came out of the crowd Onyx shot and arrow down near her feet. Spinel looking in the direction it came from seeing a waving Onyx. Spinel went up to join her and sat next to her. "Crowd was becoming too much for me." Onyx says. Spinel didn't say anything just a soft nod. "Are you ok with it?" Onyx asks. "With what exactly?" "Having to serve Black Diamond in exchange for pardons for shattering Orange Diamond." Spinel nods. "Definitely. As much as I love not serving anyone, I think serving Black Diamond without having to live in constant fear of being capture is a better alternative, besides Black Diamond seems to have your best interest at heart."Onyx says with a smile. "Who knows maybe she won't even require us to do much anyway. She will have all the Earth gems at her disposal." Onyx nods. "Hey Babe." Spinel says as Onyx moved to sit in her lap. "Yes?" "Did you ever think Sodalite felt left out since we'd been hanging out so much?" Spinel asks."Sometimes, but I think she understood why we did so much, we spent a lot of time fighting until we eventually made up, we missed each other a lot and she didn't want to interrupt that." Onyx says and Spinel nods. "Honestly I believe Sodalite loves both of us more than we give her credit for." "Do you think she changed her form like that just to appeal to us?" "Not at all. Sodalite's always felt less than herself in her last form, not so much to please us but more to be happy with herself." Onyx states. "Yeah she's been a lot happier since then." Spinel adds. "Plus let's be honest I don't think either of us will complain about seeing all that ass and tits every day." Onyx says and they both laugh and blush. "Well I'm glad you both feel that way." Sodalite says had been listening for a little while before coming to sit beside them. "Yes, I did feel inadequate with my last form, partly due to both you and I prefer a nice pair of tits and ass. A little bit to do with your stories about Cherry, Onyx. But mainly because I've always had a vision of myself being like this. So, I did it for my own happiness, being alluring to my two sweethearts and having them unable to keep their hands and eyes off me is a great bonus though." She says with a smile and the three of them laugh and sit looking down over the crowded valley. "I told Benitoite and Hematite to stay together when I left, I knew you two had split, Onyx isn't a fan of crowds and Spinel doesn't like letting Onyx wander on her own." She says and both Onyx and Spinel nod. "Benitoite really seems uneasy about all of this, I'm not sure why." "Black Diamond is known for having hidden agendas and alternative reasoning for her actions. So maybe that's scaring her, but Black Diamond did say she'd explain herself." Onyx says. It wasn't too much longer before Black Diamond's ship came into view, her ship casting an outline on the ground the crowd clearing the area so she could land. "Shouldn't we go down?" Sodalite asks. "You two should I'm going to wait here until the crowd clears." Sodalite nods kissing Onyx on her cheek before standing up. Onyx sliding off Spinel's lap to allow her to stand and they go down to meet Black Diamond. Meanwhile Serendibite joins Onyx. "Onyx, why are you up here?" She asks softly kneeling next to her. "I don't do crowds." She states. "I see, I'm not the biggest fan of crowds either, but I thought since it was a momentous occasion, you'd deal with it." "Eh, I would but Black Diamond still has to prove she loves me, I doubt she's doing all this for me." Onyx says standing up. "You go down and tell her dismiss the crowd and I'll come down." "Ok." Serendibite goes down into the crowd as Black Diamond's ship lands. Onyx sat back down and watched as Black Diamond exited her ship and addressed the crowd, she briefly explained her plan to ensure the continued existence and survival of the planet and after she settled in and assessed the situation in greater detail would come forward about how to repair the damage done to the planet. It wasn't long before Black Diamond sent the crowd away leaving just the Shadow Gems and a few gems that served Black Diamond. "Where is Onyx?" She asks coming to sit on the ground, so she was closer to the gems. Serendibite pointed off into the distance at the hill where Onyx was. Onyx aiming a large arrow at her. Firing the arrow for Black Diamond to catch Onyx sliding down the line she had attached to the arrow once she came to the wing of the arrow Black Diamond was holding she flipped off the line and landed on the ground next to the rest of the gems. Quickly bowing to her and coming back to stand. Black Diamond smiles briefly before knocking on her ship. Shortly after two gems come out and join the gathering. "Now that everyone is present." Black Diamond says."My dear gems, you all are my core team. Blue Topaz and Citrine you two are my development team work together like you have in the past. Citrine give Blue Topaz the outline on everything she needs here on earth then report back to me." "Understood my Diamond." Citrine says as Blue Topaz joins her, and they depart. "Grey Pearl, Serendibite, and Hematite. I need you to go out and find a spot for me to station myself preferable somewhere between these lands and gem-controlled lands." "Yes, my Diamond." The three say leaving Onyx, Sodalite, Spinel, and Benitoite. "Now then." Black Diamond says a looking between them an obvious fear running through the group except for Onyx. "White Diamond gave you the terms to the forgiveness of your actions, but I need your word whether you comply or not." Black Diamond says picking Onyx out of the group and holding her in her hand. "I'm sure my dear Onyx has both praised and cursed me. But my treatment of her, Hematite or Serendibite will not be given to either of you. You will address and respect my authority as you should, and if I feel like I can trust you further than your traitorous actions then we can move forward. Am I clear?" "Yes, Black Diamond." "Do you comply?" They hesitate for a moment, but Spinel speaks first. "If I may ask Black Diamond what would you have us to do?" "Whatever I want." She replied coldly. "I will comply." Spinel says somewhat reluctantly. "Smart gem." Black Diamond says waiting for the other two. "I will comply my Diamond." Sodalite says with a bow and Salute to Black Diamond. "I expected no less from you Sodalite." Black Diamond says with a smile. "I will comply." Benitoite says. "You owe me Benitoite. Purple Diamond was going to send her entire squadron to apprehend your ass when she found out I knew where you were. I had to go to great lengths to get her and White Diamond to agree on your freedom so I would be grateful if I was you." Black Diamond says. "Now that you all are in compliance, my dear Onyx." She says bringing her up to her face. "I need to speak with you alone. I assume you have a quiet place we can go?" Onyx nods pointing into the direction west of the city. Being as tall as the trees it was easy for Black Diamond to cover a lot of ground, coming to a large empty valley with no civilization around for miles. Setting Onyx down on a hill Black Diamond sitting on the ground so that she was nearly level with the hill. "I can't imagine you doing all this just to show you care about me." Onyx says. "I didn't. I came here to show that I care about you. I got your friends pardoned for their crimes to show I love you, I'm here and staying here because all of my beloveds are in one place." Black Diamond says kissing Onyx on her cheek."Onyx, do you forgive me?" Black Diamond asks and Onyx nods. "I forgave you when you came to comfort me when I was crying. That was enough to show me you cared. Everything else is just great news and I have more respect and pride for you as my Diamond because of it." She says and Black Diamond smiles. "You and your friends are free to keep doing what you do here. I will call on you occasionally but I'm not here to change everything you guys do." She says. "I appreciate it."Onyx says hugging black Diamonds face. Black Diamond smiles and takes Onyx back to her home then heads out to meet up with Grey Pearl and the gang. Onyx went inside to see Sodalite and Benitoite on the couch. "Where's Spinel?" she asks and Sodalite just points up indicating she's on the roof. Onyx goes up onto the roof to see Spinel balancing her hammers while on one foot. "If I practice keeping balance, I can put a lot more power into my attacks without having to worry about losing my footing." Spinel says putting her hammers away as Onyx approaches. "You guys have nothing to worry about." She says calmly. "Black Diamond will only call us occasionally, but she says we can keep doing what we've been doing." Spinel smiles. "Well that's good to hear." Spinel says Onyx nodding as the go inside to inform the other two as well.
