Chapter 5

Jim: Hey Sim! Simone Nicole Troller- where the heck do you think you're going? Come back here! Nana's going to kill me!

(EDP enters and Jim hides behind the bridge.)

EDP- "Hi! I'm Evan Daniel Peterson!" No, that's not right. "Hello there! I'm Evan Daniel!" Gosh! It's gonna take a miracle for me to get a job in one day...

(Evan steps onto the bridge and Jim startles him)

EDP- "Hello! Who's down there?"

Jim- Who's that trip trapping over my bridge?

EDP- it is I, Evan Daniel Peterson, and I must get over your bridge! I got a job interview and if I don't get there soon, I won't get the job and then Ma will make me move out of her field!

Jim- Well I'm a big bad troll, and grilled goat is my favorite!

(Jim takes the goat and pulls him up to his mouth while EDP begins screaming. Then Jim starts crying)

Jim- I'm sorry, but I can't. I'm trying to be like my mom, but....I... I... I just can't.

EDP- Well, if you want to take a break for awhile, I'm on my way to Subway for my job interview and then to lunch with my friend Jared, if you want to join me.

Jim- I don't know. If Kim found out she may as well eat me, but I guess that I could come along for a few hours. Something other than plants and grass sounds good right about now.

EDP- They have great BLT's

Jim- Could it come without bacon?

EDP- Without bacon?! What's a BLT without bacon. Then that's just an LT! Are you a vegetarian or something? Everyone likes bacon.

Jim- What if I were a vegetarian?

EDP I would laugh until the end of the world. I have never heard of a human eating troll as a vegetarian! Wait, you were joking, right?

Jim- Um.....Weeeell......you know.....Okay, fine I'm a vegetarian. So what? Please don't laugh at me, everyone else already does.

EDP- I'll try my best, but I won't make any promises. Are you ready to go, Jared's shift ends in 20 minutes.

Jim- Let's go!

(Jim and EDP walk off.)
