THIRTY TWO

YOU ARE NOT SASHA!!!!

"Now let's move onto the awards ceremony!" Midnight exclaimed from in front of the winner's spot.

I glanced at Bakugo and Todoroki again and noticed that Bakugo looked even more dejected than before.

"Now for the medals!" She yelled. "Presenting them this year is... you know who!"

"I AM..."

"He's everyone's hero..."

"...Here with the medals."

"ALL MIGHT!"

All Might Sensei shot Midnight a look and she pressed her hands together in front of her.

"Cut you off. Sorry." She said quietly, clearly embarrassed. "The first years this year are something else. Even All Might came to watch."

All Might grabbed a medal and went up to Todoroki.

"Congratulations, Young Todoroki! You're a strong one!" He said as he placed the medal over the bicoloured male's head.

"You honour me too highly," Todoroki replied.

"You did well. You need to focus more on overcoming your weaknesses, though. Hone your innate strength to open a world of opportunity." All Might hugged Todoroki and flashed his signature smile before moving onto Bakugo.

"I don't want it," Bakugo said coldly.

"But-"

"I said I don't want it, dammit!"

"Just accept it, Young Bakugo!"

"I didn't win! I don't want it!"

Bakugo and All Might bickered for a few minutes before Bakugo begrudgingly took the medal, but kept it clenched in his fist at his side as he glared at nothing.

"And finally, Young Sasha," All Might put a hand on my shoulder as he spoke proudly. "Your skills amazed not just me, but many other pro heroes. I must say, though, that last attack of yours left me speechless. Your parents must be really proud of you. You certainly know how to keep the audience on edge! Congratulations, Young Sasha. You deserve this."

I bowed my head slightly as All Might put the medal over my head and felt a little bit proud of myself.

"Well! These are your winners!" All Might yelled. "But hold on, everyone! Everyone here today has the potential to be standing up here! As you all witnessed! Competition! Encouragement! Pushing each other to climb higher and higher! The sprouts of today will grow into the heroes of tomorrow! In that spirit, let's have one final cheer!"

All Might thrust a fist into the air. "Everyone say it with me! One, two, and..."

"THANKS FOR THE HARD WORK!"

Nani? It's supposed to be, "Plus Ultra!"

After the award ceremony was over I went back to Recovery Girl, who gave me some stamina gummies and told me to come back in the morning so she could heal me properly.

"I myself am out of stamina. After all, I've been healing two specific people all day." The old woman said and shot me a look, to which I awkwardly smiled and went to the classroom after changing into my school uniform.

"In the light of the festival..." Aizawa Sensei was saying as a walked in, "You'll have tomorrow and the next day off. Scouting reports and such from the pros will be waiting for you here after the break. So look forward to that as you enjoy your time off."
