I managed to wander all the way to the door leading outside, maybe its the exit so I can go home. That would be really good...
... I pressed my hands onto the door...and
...stepped outside...
It was a cage...A big cage surrounding the grounds of this academy. It's just a prank, right?
I wish I was right, but just because of a stupid cage, I can't give up! I'm Kaito Momota Luminary of the Stars, nothing gets in the way of the Ultimate Astronaut!
I wander around for a while, wondering who and how this wall was made. Then I see a boy and a girl in the distance, I don't think I've come to their acquaintance. I turned around to make it look like I haven't noticed them and when they finally reached me I began to talk...
"Geez...How'd they even make this big-ass wall?" I said.
"Seriously I just don't get it the blonde girl said. The boy who seemed to just be following her spoke up.
"I wonder what will happen now... If we can't escape, then-" How annoying I hate guys who doubt all this without considering all the possible positive outcome.
"What, are you complaining?" I ask.
"Huh?"
"Quit complaining and grumbling or It'll turn into a habit. Besides this cage is nothing compared to the vastness of the universe!"
"The universe?" The girl asked, Oh I haven't introduced myself, I suppose mentioning the universe gives away what my talent is.
"Oops, I haven't introduced myself yet. My bad." ... "I'm Kaito Momota, Luminary of the Stars! Even crying children adore the Ultimate Astronaut! How 'bout it!? I'm an astronaut! Isn't that cool!" They both gave me awkward smiles. I still stayed confident though.
"Y-Yeah... I've never been to space, so I don't know much about it... "
"Haha! Well, of course! Not just anyone can get up there! I may be an astronaut, but... I'm actually still in training. " That's true, but I'm the first teenager to ever past the exam that always impressed girls I'd meet.
"Oh, I see. So you're still a trainee... "
"But I'm the first teenager to ever pass the exam! I mean, normally you need a college degree to even take the exam." she gave me a puzzled look, I may have lied my way into getting a chance at the exam but I was up all nights for weeks on end studying about space.
" Huh? Then how did you take the exam? " she asked.
"I had a friend who was pretty crafty... So I had him forge some stuff for me. "
"That's illegal! " What a sucker for the rules she w-is.
" Yeah, I ended up getting caught. I was in pretty deep shit!
But the people up top decided they liked me and let me in any way. 'Course I aced the exam anyway. " she didn't seem impressed but smile anyway.
"Th-That's reckless... " she said with a sigh.
"Sometimes you gotta be a little reckless to make your dreams a reality! No way I can wait till after college! I wanna get to space as fast as I can! " The boy who I had dissed before suddenly spoke reminding me he was there.
"...You sure have a lot of ...energy. " I mean he wasn't wrong I don't just have 'a lot of energy I'm determined and ambitious, caught my dreams in a headlock.
"Yeah, everyone told me it was impossible, but I never gave up! Not for a moment! That's because...limits don't exist unless you set them yourself! There are no walls you can't get over! The same goes for that one! "
"So do you have any ideas? "
"..." Well...
"Th-That's not the problem! " That's the worst excuse I've come up with, the girl who later introduced herself as Kaede and the boy later to be labelled Shuichi didn't quite get me at first but I'm sure they'll get to know me once we all get out of here...
Hey, Sorry These Chapters Are so Long I might make them a bit shorter until we get to the good bits. I forgot to mention the ships that'll be in here, they'll be ships that barely pass as a ship so don't worry if you don't like it; I'm sorry. Anyway, hope you enjoy the fanfiction! :)

Korekiyo x sister ~ 3 (Minor. Because his love for his sister is only introduced before his punishment, sorry :P)
Himiko x Tenko ~ 1-3 (Medium ship, again since they're not main characters I can't focus on them too much but I personally love this ship so I had to include)
Shuichi x Kokichi ~ 2-4 (Minor, sorry if you love the ship again this novel is about Kaito so most ships without him will be quite minor in the story but this will be included. this ship isn't canon in the 5th chapter because this is when Kokichi puts on a villain persona. )
