Cadman (Chapter 6)

 The hovercopter courses through the sky, the flames below enlighten the sky around. Andres is next to his father, the bullets had gone through gaps in his armor that was burnt. His father is losing blood quickly, a soldier quickly stops the bleeding and bandages him.

The hovercopter flies over an open field of destruction. There are collapsed buildings and broken tankers scattered. Matt looks down at it with surprise, he questions KS-19, "What happened?"

KS-19 informs, "Emergency military operations are in combat with War Peactron. This is an aftermath, but the battle still wages on."

"You're telling me they haven't taken him down?!"

"Affirmative," KS-19 answers.

A building at the distance stands tall and nearly untouched, it is surrounded by rubble. The pilot squints at the small figure on the roof. KS-19 scans the figure in the distance and alarms, "Peacetron Cadman has spotted hovercraft, divert immediate-" A blast and a swoosh cuts him off.

The hovercopter is hit with an explosion, everyone is knocked to the sides. "Our hoverer is hit, were going down, brace for impact!" the pilot yells at the team. KS-19 assists the pilot with gliding the falling case of metal. Andres buckles his father and himself and holds onto his chair nervously. The copter slams into the building windows in the middle, metal sparks everywhere and everyone swings their heads to the crash. The copter slams into the base of the building and stops dead.

Andres regains conciencense and there is a ringing in his ears. Blood drips from his mouth and he is covered in smult and dust. He glances around to see everyone else waking up too, just as dazed as him. Andres presses a button to release him, he collapses painfully on the ground. Carmen unbuckles and thumps on the ground. Matt is holding his head and blinking awake. Andres gets up shaking and helps his father down and out of the dead copter. He lays him on a set of crates and Lt.Davis groans as his injuries worsen, Adres calms him, "I'm going to check on the others, stay here." His father says something but it is inaudible to Addres as he walks to the others.

The KS-19 droid assists the pilot out, the pilot doubles over. There were 5 other soldiers besides Matt and Carmen that were still alive, 2 died in the crash. The weapon crate is still intact and they open it to arm themselves, knowing that Cadman is here. The pilot waves KS-19 off and it walks over to the rest of the team and suggests, "Our probability to escape is higher than staying, although my sensors inform that there is a sense of aggression."

Matt answers for the rest, "We might as well try, we are going to go out with it." Everyone nods except for Carmen, she explains, "I just need to get this all down, but I will try to help." Andres looks at his father and to the rest, "Im getting my dad out of here." As his dad tries to protest there is a yell of warning. Everyone turns suddenly.

The pilot is firing at the open area near the crashed copter, a robotic figure walks out cover and aims his weapon. There is a flash and the pilot's head jerks back and he collapses dead.

"Its Cadman! FIRE!!" Andres yells as they aim and shoot.

Cadman swiftly goes behind a pillar, the cover takes all the bullets. An assault rifle appears out of the cover and fires twice. The bullets splatter into a soldier's face. Everyone takes cover, KS-19 blinks and then calls out, "Two jets are coming in, take cover." KS-19 tosses a smoke grenade, as he does the gun appears again and sparks hit KS-19 in the leg. Smoke pops out and KS-19 limps to a hole in the ground near the copter, Matt gets the idea and drops series of ropes with anchors on the hole. Everyone hurryingly repels down the ropes, KS-19 grabs Lt.Davis and Adres helps Carmen down. As the last soldier repels, Cadman come sprinting out of the smoke and hops over the hole firing his gun.
