Matilda's pov

I took off running, I couldn't bear it anymore......

All the lies and deceit were too much to bear. One thought ran through my head as I sprinted towards the forest; I was going to kill them.

I was going to get them all killed.

I sat with my back in the corner of the walls, just behind the graveyard. I realized I was clutching the book and the photo which I had absent mindedly grabbed off the floor. I opened it and picked up the photo, it was all of us. Everyone who ever entered the glade, anyone who died, anyone who was killed. They all stared at me, a girl next to Theresa had her arm around Thomas and was laughing.

I wondered if she was still out there laughing, if she was still alive or dead.

The Flare these two words popped into my head, I wracked my head for the meaning. None came.

Thomas' pov

I saw her sitting there calmly, she was shivering from the cold and turning the photo over and over in her fingers.

I walked over to her and handed her my sweatshirt, it was massive on her but she took it gratefully and snuggled beside me. Tears started to roll down her cheeks, she spoke in a shaky voice. "Do you think that girl's still alive?" He wrapped his arms around her, "If she wasn't, I wouldn't hav a sister and you wouldn't be in my arms." I said chuckling into her shoulder. Of course she doesn't know what she looks like, there aren't any mirrors here.
Do you want me to send you an image of you? I mind sent

She looked up shocked then sent back. Yes Tommy!

She turned the page of the book and laughed, I looked down and joined in. It was miniature us', Chuck was in the picture along with two people who we immediately sent to each other. Our parents!

We stared at it for what seemed like hours as we drifted off to sleep, her hair fanned out on my chest, my head leaning on hers'.
