Callum was sky-high, both his hands were over her chest and he sighs deeply.

"Man I haven't seen you like that since Claudia gave you a kiss on the cheek when we were younger" Ezra smiled at his brother who was still laying on his bed.

"You aren't going to stop making that stupid face of love-struck arent you?"

"Nope" Callum breathed.

Callum took out a dagger that he was gifted with. After last night Rayla gave him a dagger, she said in her clan a partner gave another partner a dagger with their initials on them. carrying this around will tell people you are taken.

"well congratulations" A bitter voice came from the entrance. Both boys looked at Faven who stood at the entrance with arms crossed over his chest.

"Hello Faven" Ezran said.

"yeah yeah, I need Callum today"

"what? why?" Callum stood up.

"Izard our commander need to see you"

"Why would he need to see me?' Callum asked.

Faven rolled his eyes "He needs to see you because he has news about the letter that will be sent to the human kingdom today"

Callum decided to follow him only turning at the door to Ezran "Be careful, stay indoors"

He followed Faven and didn't pay much attention to where he was going until he was deep in the forest far from the clan.

"Soo? What's up?" Faven turned around slowly and glared at Callum.

"you don't deserve that dagger....Rayla may have fallen under your spell but I see you for who you truly are," Faven said with much hatred.

Callum laughed "Oh yeah? and what would that be?"

Faven took a sword out "A dark mage!"

Callum's eyes widen and took a step back "B-but you have no evidence if you kill me you've just ruined your chance to have peace!"

"NO! I would liberate my lands from the upcoming curse from your people!"

That is when Izard came out from the woods, his face said it all, he was up to no good.

"Izard-" Before Callum could speak Izard had already run up to him, taking the Dagger from Callum's hip, he pushed Callum to the ground.

"Our Leaders are doing a mistake of trusting you and we'll prove it," Izard said, looking down at him.

"But you have no proof!! and I mean well for all of Xadia!" Callum pleaded.

Izard gave the dagger to Faven. "Do it" Izard commanded.

Callum closed his eyes and lifted his hands to cover his head "HELP!" He yelled but nothing came of it.

He slowly opened his eyes and saw Faven stabbing Izard with his dagger.

"What are you doing!!!" Callum stood up watching Izard fall to the ground, he starded to loose blood.

Faven crossed his arms and smirked. "once they come it will be my word against yours!"

"Not if it never happened" He called magic and began healing Izard but Luck wasn't on Callum's side.

"Callum" he heard the worry voice of Rayla.

'This can't be happening' He thought as he turned around to find the terrified face of Rayla.

He stopped all his magic and raised his hands up "It's not what you think!"
