The One Left (Part 1)

Hi guys, this is a side stories from the "Hang In There" AU book. It's about the stories of the people, mostly the batfam after the death of Dick Grayson from the suicide.

The timeline is not in orders. I would tell you ahead before you read the chapter.

However I should warned you, that the theme for both books are angst, dark with major/minor characters death. I'VE WARNED YOU PEOPLE!

Timeline :
9.5 years after the death of Richard Grayson. 2 years after the death of Timothy Drake. When Bart is trying to change the past while Batman(Jason), Nightwing(Damian) and Tigress(Artemis) are chasing for him.

Jason is chasing for someone. Chasing for the speedster who has been on his late brother's side for a long time. The one on natural. The one who didn't choose which side he was. But now someone have to.

Bart Allen. The speedster from the future who's been living in the current time right after he stuck from the 'visit'. From Impulse to a Kid Flash and now.. just Bart.

He's been off radar ever since Tim died, and ever since Jason and Damian decided to wiped off the villains from the living ground. Superman has been on edge ever since. The kids he saw as nephews broken from day by day. Few leaguers died on the hand of the duos. Some others joining them while the others taking on Superman's side. Jason offered Bart a place to be, but he declined. He won't kill people, but he not agree with Superman either. He is one of those few people who went natural.

Jason warned him, if he ever see him on Superman's side, Batman would be his worst nightmare.

Bart spending his time, years even, to make his own time machine. He remembered the one that he created before, but he lacked the material, Efonathium. The material that was specially formed in the explosion when he saved Barry from getting barbeque-d. He have another material available around, Xenothium. But that material is too unstable and dangerous.So far, they could only mined two of it. One of them was kept by Deathstroke The Terminator, while the other one was kept by Batman-Jason in his Injustice Headquarter.

His right hand man, Nightwing. They're both were trained by the best. They knew what to get before the others had their hands on it. Bart just needed that material, he already on the final phase. Being a speedster came with the clumsiness, he tripped on the alarm when he sneaking into the headquarter.

And now he's been chased by Tigress, Nightwing and the mighty cruel Batman that using guns as the main weapons. He can't use his full speed right now, there's the possibility that Xenothium could react by it. He keep his running speed as compatible as he could but that didn't stop the other party from getting closer.

"Batman, there's an empty space near the sewer and subway system. I believe that is his hideout." Nightwing announce while running. Crap. Damian is too good. Way too good. 5 minutes before he could reach the hideout, he can do this.

Jason knew what Bart was doing. Bart was trying to change the past. Jason won't let him doing it. It's not because he doesn't want everything turning fine like before, no.. It's because he saw Bart's attempt as running away. Even though Bart changed the past, it won't change the dimension they are in. What Bart will do is opening up a new parallel world where Dick was saved, but what about their current dark world now? It will continue til the end. Nothing will change. Nothing at all.
