Once you had finished cleaning up you put on the red dress that was given to you. It was pretty but exposed too much for your liking... We'll from what you could tell from looking in the mucky water in the bucket. You tried your luck tugging on the chain again but still there was nothing, it just clung to the wall for dear life. After several tries you heard the heavy metal door creak open again.
A tall dark lanky figure immerged from the darkness and into the light of the swinging bulb. He moved closer to you, a menacing grin plastered on his face as he chuckled, reaching for your delicate, bruised face. He squeezed your lower jaw between his large and jagged hands, coaxing a wince from your lips. "Ah, my sweet, sweet Y/N. Don't you look ravishing." He spoke with a hint of lust and anger strewn into his words.
"What do you want James." You growled.
"Well isn't it obvious? I want you." He pulled your face closer to his and took a deep longing whiff of your H/C locks. "Unfortunately, I have found someone willing to pay a hefty price for your..." He looked you up and down, scanning your every curve and crevice barely hidden beneath the red cloths. "Body" he finished. You jolted your head from his grip and moved further away from him, disgusted buy his thoughts. How dare he? But this was James after all, and he did as he pleased. Anything to get himself on good terms with the wealthy.
"Oh don't worry. The man is very wealthy and will take good care of you, so long as you please him like you're supposed to."
You fell silent. There was nothing more you could say that would stop him. Seducing him wouldn't work, he knows I hate him. You thought to yourself. Fighting my way isn't an option either. There could be many guards surrounding the place, I would get killed before I get out, with or without my imperial arms. It then occurred to you that your best chance at escape would be once you have already been sold.
"Now come, your new master is waiting to meet you." He said bending over to unlock your chain. You could have taken him down then and there, but you knew now wasn't the right time. He put his hand out to you and you took it reluctantly before you two ascended up the stairs and into the hallway of the tavern.
He walked you over to what looked to be a VIP room. In the centre of the room was one large semicircle velvet couch. In the centre of it was a small round platform. James guided you up the three steps before chaining your leg to the floor of the stage. "All you gotta do is stand there and look gorgeous as always." He walked of the plat form and the moment he was gone the curtains dropped.
Sitting opposite from you was a large man. He wore a fancy light blue suit and had a large sack beside him. His entourage consisted of three very muscular men and one small shirtless boy. The boy only wore shorts and was covered in bruises and scars. He had dark brown hair and looked cold, his puppy brown eyes filled with a pain familiar to you.
"What a very nice specimen!" The Man blurted and you couldn't help but cringe. He stood up with much effort and walked around the entire platform, eyeing every inch of you. It was as though he were inspecting some ancient artefact he intended to buy. After he had finished his "viewing" he sat down, sweat dripping down his balled head as he thought.
After much silence he spoke. "She would be a great addition to the family don't you think?" He said stroking the young boys head, and he nodded in agreement. The man threw the large bag over to James. "I think that should suffice. The price is fit for someone of her beauty." James bowed in thanks and we proceeded to make our way to the carriage.
Lubbock's POV
Leone kicked the door to the tavern down, but there was no one inside. The candles had been blown out and the remnants of smoke filled the room. "Are you sure this is where she is?" Leone sniffed around some more. "Yeah, her scent is at its strongest here. They must be hiding her somewhere." I noticed a light just beyond the bar and further into the hallway. "You think she could be in there?" I whispered and Leone gave me a nod.
The two of us slowly creeped into the hallway and in one of the rooms stood a tall lanky man and two other guards. He looked to be counting coins at his desk and splitting it between themselves. Leone and I barged in through the door. She had managed to knockout the two guards before they even noticed us and I had my string up against the tall man's neck.
"Who are you?" He choked.
"Where is she?"
"I don't know who you're talking about." He said so I pulled the strings tighter.
"We have reason to believe you have taken a friend of ours." Leone added.
"Really. I have no..."
"Y/N! Damn it! What have you done with Y/N!" I pulled even tighter, so tight I could feel the strings slowly tearing through his flesh.
"I sold her! I sold her to some rich guy."
"Why? To who?" The man pointed to some small note book sitting on the desk. Leone picked it up and flicked though. "My god, you are one sick man. So many young girls and boys." 30 pages, 48 pages 96 pages, 286 pages, all covered back to back with names. "From ages as young as 8 years old to 25." Leone said in disgust. "You deserve to suffer. I say we take him as hostage. Torture him as punishment until we find her."
"Agreed." I said before knocking him out.
