"Are we going outside today?" I asked Zach T. He nodded and we sat in our squad lines.
"Alright. That way." Mr. Niebaum, our teacher, informed us. Another one of the classes walked in the same direction as us and I waved.
"Hey Katie! Are you going outside as well?" She shook her head.
"No we have the equipment rooms." I groaned and her boyfriend, Zach T, asked her the same question. Once we were on the field, the teams were split and sides were decided for us.
"Red, yellow. Red, yellow." Like that. The game started and my team tried to put me on defense. Oh hell no! I edged closer to the line of safety and saw that three of my teammates' flags were pulled and they were down. The system was we had these flags around our waist and if someone pulled it when we were out of our safety zone, we had to sit in the spot where it was pulled. If a teammate wanted to get that person back in, they had to run up to that person and pull them over to their side again.
"Kylie how did you get out?" I yelled at her. She shrugged and I ran to the closest person to me. I pulled that person to our side and they went for the football again.
"Zach? How?" I asked when I saw someone pull his flag. He shrugged and sat down.
"Hey! Kylie! Hey!" He yelled and I laughed when she went for the football yet still was pulled. There was one person guarding Zach and I could tell that it would be easy to get around him. I walked over to the edge of the playing field and slowly inched my was over the line. The person 'guarding' Zach was facing the other direction. Zach saw me and motioned for me to run. One of the yellow people yelled, "Hey!" and I ran over to Zach, pulling him up, and running over to our line. The downside of me pulling everyone over the line is that we had to hold onto the person for the ability to cross. So I was holding onto Zach for dear life screaming, "Kami!" and we FINALLY crossed over. Zach was still holding my hand and Kylie noticed as he pulled me back over the line and went for the football.

"You were still holding her hand when you crossed the line. I saw that. I might tell Katie." Kylie joked at Zach and I could feel my face heat up but not blush.
"Nuuuuuu! Don't tell Katie!" I yelled an they both laughed.
"I wouldn't really do that. Or would I?" She said mysteriously.
"Why me?" I groaned.
