Hickeys and Cigarettes

Graduation

This is just gonna be a short chapter of Ashton's and Robins graduation

Robins pov.

Today is the day, We are graduating.I'm standing outside of the school in my cap and gown waiting for Ashton to finish smoking so we can head inside.
" You ready?" Ashton asks coming up behind me and grabbing a hold of my hand.
"Ready as I'll ever be" I say letting out a big breath that I didn't know I was holding in.We head inside hand in hand and find our seats as the ceremony begins.

Some time goes by and I know my name will be called soon, Ashtons name had already been called and he was waiting for me.I then hear my name and my anxiety peeks as all eyes are on me as I rise and begin the walk to the stage.I shake the principals hand and some of the teachers as I make my way down the line I see my mother in the crowd of people and she smiles at me softly with tears in her eyes.I finally get my diploma and i make my way to Ashton.

"My mothers here" I state just above a whisper slightly pointing at my mother.

"Hey just ignore her okay, Today is about you" He assures me squeezing my hand.I look up at him and lean my head on his chest as he warps his arms around me.

*Time skip to after the rest of the graduation ceremony*

Me and Ashton are making our way out oft he school with the rest of our former classmates and I feel a tap on my shoulder.I turn around to see my mother.

"I'm so sorry for everything that I said, I know I haven't always been the most accepting but I promise to try.Seeing you up there on that stage made me realize that it doesn't matter Who you are or what you chose to identify as I will always be proud of you and you can accomplish anything that you set your mind too" My mother says with tears streaming down her face.

"Oh mom..I'm so sorry too.You mean so much to me and It makes me so happy that you are going to try and accept me and be here for me,I forgive you and I'm never gonna stop loving you, because you are my mother and I could never replace you in my life" I say starting to cry as well and my mother pulls me into a tight hug.We pull away and wipe away our tears.

"Hey Ashton look I'm sorry too and I'm really happy Amelia I mean Robin has found someone like you and if it's alright with you guys I'd love to come have dinner with you guys at your new place once you get situated" My mother says grabbing a hold of my shoulders and looking at Ash.

"You don't need to be sorry All is forgiven, I'm sure me and Robin both would love to have you over for dinner sometime" Ash says looking at me and my mother pulling both me and her into a hug.After today I can't wait to just go home and start my life with Ashton and spend the rest of our lives together.
