Elentiya ••• The Illyrian Fighter

Elentiya watched Ayla down a man twice her size in the blink of an eye. The corners of her mouth rose. Ayla turned around to face her, her violet eyes sparkling with delight. Elentiya new that look, the look of a warrior, a warrior doing what it loved best: fighting. "Care to join me?"

Oh Elentiya did, her hands trembled slightly at the need to fight, to clear her mind of everything that had been happening. But.... if she fought she would quickly be deemed a threat, or a potential one.

"Elentiya?"

She put her hands in her pockets, "I'm good, thanks. Wouldn't want to embarrass you in front of your subjects." She said it lightly, smirking, humor flowing in her tone.

Unlike everyone else she knew, Ayla didn't seem to buy it, but didn't push it either. She simply returned the smirk and turned to face the other training rings.

"If any male here can defeat me," she yelled, Illyrians turning to look. "Then you've proven I'm just a weak, fragile, girl." She paused, letting the idea of potential glory sink into their heads.

Elentiya, on the other hand, almost snorted. It was more like impossible glory. None of the Illryians were particularly good fighters, and based off what she had seen so far, Ayla was more than a hundred times pass their skill.

Ayla continued taking though, "But.... each male I defeat must train a female for two hours. If none of you face me, then I guess it's decided that this female is more powerful."

Elentiya blinked. What a cunning little bat! If these man were anything like arrogant creatures the appeared to be, they run into the fight to prove their glory. Especially if they were as sexist as her speech made them appear to be.

So Elentiya stood back and watch Ayla fight Illyrian after Illyrian as they lined up to face their challenger.
