Freedom

I grabbed them tight as they strangle my wrists.
Getting tired and sore as I clenched my teeth.
These iron rings deteriorating beneath my sight.
Slowly making me loose the fight.

I always wondered how it feels to be free.
Not on an empty space but a land full of trees.
This castle I'm living on is nothing but a vacant street.
No one can hear my sigh nor my hymn.

People get envious as I was born with a golden spoon
Dress so fancy with flowers that always bloom.
Mother and Father always gives the best.
Making sure I was set apart from the rest.

Education made number one.
Majors and masterals these are all I've done.
Working in the conglomerate world, I am well known.
My surname is popular but never my own.

Once upon a time, I was a lonely bee.
People tend to me and made sure I'm filled with glee.
Sickness overcome and my parents priority.
But what has become? Why did I loose the cree?

Now that I am thirty and I'm bound to thee.
I was suddenly instructed to marry somebody.
Someone I never met.. but can expand our business.
Acquire more stocks.. Propagate more docks.

On my way home, I told the driver, STOP
Left me off this road and don't ever look back.
Tell nobody that I missed a block.
I would just like to breathe and try my luck.

I took a step further and decided to run.
I would make the best of these two hours and fill it with fun. I know later on, men in suit will make me halt.
I don't have a tracer but they always know.

I went to the carnival and was amaze.
Where have I been? why did they determine my fate?
I rode the giant wheel and up up we go.
I forced open the door and let me be blown.

I spread my arms as I braced for my jump.
This is the only freedom that I can find.
