Saturday arrived with no ease to her anxieties about William, as well as the impending trip she was supposed to take with Cain.
Emma had managed to talk her way out of going to work on Saturday and went shopping for a decent outfit to fit the occasion. During her trip, she kept thinking about Williams and how he made her feel. Sure, she was a bit infatuated with him and confused; she'd never been in any kind of relationship, let alone one that was purely sexual. But Emma wasn't about to deny that whatever it was that was between them, it was something that she was stupid enough to get herself wrapped up in.
When it was time to get ready, she dressed in a red dress that faded into black at the bottom. The black thin straps attached to the dress had small red gems that hung off her shoulders. She wore red flats with soles that made it easy to make a break for it, if she needed to.
While she didn't exactly have to overdress for whatever Cain had planned, she had Draco in the back of her mind. He seemed like the kind to enjoy the elegant types, even though she was far from being one of them. She was trailer trash at heart, though she tried her best to change that.
When she'd gotten inside his car, Cain was smirking at her. "Dress up for me?" He teased.
Emma gagged on the inside, but on the outside she asked, "Why are we going to the club, Cain?"
"You'll see," he replied.
She scowled and said, "Don't fuck with me, I paid you more than I fucking owed you. Are you planning to whore me out?" Emma wasn't about to stick around if either her family members tried that shit.
"You're not pretty enough for that," Cain sneered. "Now sit the fuck back and be quiet."
Emma abode for the time being, but she didn't trust her brother worth shit. She wouldn't even be in the car but she knew she wouldn't have liked his reaction had she said no.
The drive was silent and quick, and before she was ready, Emma and Cain were already at the club. The music was blasting inside with the usual line attempting to get in the front entrance. The two got out and walked towards the side of the building, away from the front doors.
Emma frowned at him and asked, "Why aren't we getting in the regular way?"
"Just shut the fuck up and follow me," Cain snapped, continuing down his path. Emma followed quietly, keeping an eye on her surroundings in case she needed to make a break for it. There was a side door open with two bodyguards standing on either side of it. Her brother had pulled something out of his pocket, lifting and showing it to them.
The guards glanced at it before one of them nodded for him to enter. Emma followed, gulping as the guards looked her up and down. She followed Cain down a dark hall before reaching a crossroads. Cain turned to the left and greeted someone, speaking to them in a low enough voice that she couldn't hear him.
The man nodded before turning around. Cain turned to her and said, "Today is the day I become rich, Emmy." He then shrugged and added, "You won't have to deal with me or pops after tonight."
Emma's gaze narrowed. That was suspicious and didn't leave a good taste in her mouth. "Oh..." Why did he need her to come then?
He opened a door to a lounge and said, "Wait here while I take care of my business."
She scowled and said, "No, I'm coming with." She was slapped in response. She expected it and said nothing, glaring at him silently.
Cain gave her a vile smile. "Let me put it to you this way, sis. You're in my territory now. If you don't do what you're told..." He didn't continue with his speech, opting to look up and down her body instead.
