An entire year dragged past since the champion last saw you. You were gone from his life as abruptly as the day you entered it. The whole thing was an ongoing distraction for him, more than he'd like to admit.

No one could find out where you vanished off to. He knew you were out there somewhere and with you a small part of his affection. Dare he admit, you made quite the impression on him.

His life was full of exhilarating adventures but boy were you something new. Such mystery drew him in straight away. Despite your dark ways, you had a way of enchanting on-lookers.

He was always too set in his own ways to allow any deep affections. It would only put a hindrance on his champion lifestyle. It bothered him that in the short time he knew you he somehow got sucked in. It practically went against everything he once said.

It was just so frustrating to not know your whereabouts, it drove him crazy. To even hear if you were alright would put his mind at ease.

Not many knew of these feelings since he would never share something so vulnerable about himself. Urbosa was perceptive enough to figure it out on her own though. Since day one she was onto him. She knew he'd never bring up such a thing and likely blow off any accusations with rude remarks.

She could tell though who was on his mind when he'd be quietly brooding. She tipped him off one day of where she guessed you'd be. "Thinking like a yiga it would be the last place you'd expect." She even shared some insight on what to watch out for. Your people were excellent at hiding but there were bound to be a couple patterns.

He was silent and still as she brought all this up. Even now his personality blocked him from openly discussing the matter. Urbosa expected as much but she could see in his eyes he would think over her advice.

"I do hope you're careful, don't forget who she really is" she gave him a warn-full look before leaving him be.

What she was his mind corrected in thought. He knew he could change you, besides the biggest step had already been taken when you and your own people turned against one another.

One late evening he found himself flying high above the Hebra mountains. The air was crisp and silent as the grave. He watched the moon's glow come through the clouds.

His attention was drawn down to a small fire below and upon closer inspection he noticed a lonely cabin not far from it. Out of instinct he glided down to see an old hylian man sitting close to the flickering flames.

He held himself tall and proud upon landing. He expected some sort of reaction from the old geezer but he didn't even seem to turn his head. Feeling slightly dishonoured by his lack of reaction he brushed it off wondering if maybe something was wrong.

"Mind if I accompany you?" He asked breaking the silence. Still no response. "Alright then" the champion muttered more to himself before sitting down anyways. Normally he would just fly off from such rudeness but his pride wouldn't leave without at least some kind of reaction.

"Quite the cold choice of residence" he commented glancing around at the snowfall.

Finally, the old man slightly glanced toward the Rito though his eyes quickly averted back to the fire. Revali frowned something was certainly off. Normally Hylians no matter what age would be astonished to be in the presence of a champion. But not this one.. his green gaze narrowed rising with suspicions.
