"Goodnight mom, I love you." Stefani leaned into her mother's warm arms for a gentle hug.

"Goodnight Stefi, get some good rest sweetheart and thank you so much for helping today." Cynthia placed a kiss on Stefani’s cheek.

Stefani smiled sweetly and blushed at the compliment, there’s two people that always made her feel wanted and those were her parents. "Goodnight dad, love you!!" Stefani slightly limped over to her dad, practically disappearing into his arms.

"Goodnight Loopy, love you too." He placed a kiss at the top of his daughters head. "Take my coat, Stefani, it’s raining out hard out there!" Joe pointed to his coat on the rack by the door.

"Thanks dad." Stefani grabbed it and slipped on the much larger piece of clothing, slipped the hood on and smiled sweetly at her parents as she waved them goodbye.

"Get home safe!" She heard her mother yell out to her as the door closed. Stefani turned and looked through the glass with a nod before she began to walk down the street.

Stefani walked down the sidewalk, kicking some wet orange leaves before she looked up and saw a group of people walking down the sidewalk towards her. Her heart rate quickened and she turned into the alleyway dividing her parents restaurant and a hotel. Either way the alley was a shortcut to her apartment.

"Germ!" She heard a familiar voice say.

Oh what now! The voice in her head said as she turned around.

"What did I tell you?" Irina angrily asked Stefani.

"What are you talking about?" Stefani took a step back as Irina and the two guys beside her, who Stefani recognized as the football players, took a step as well.

"About staying away from Bradley! You acted like a baby just so he could take you to the nurse!" Irina’s angry expression made Stefani gulp.

"Irina, you hurt me! I couldn’t walk, what else was supposed to happen?" Stefani clutched the sleeves of her dads coat in her hands.

"Stefani, you seriously think he cared to take you to the nurse?" Irina raised her eyebrows and laughed. "He just doesn’t want to get fired, you know where he should’ve taken you? Irina leaned to Stefani, "the trash." She giggled and backed away as the two guys grabbed Stefani.

"Let me go! Irina what the fuck!?" Stefani bravely said but was met with laughter as she was thrown into the trash can that belonged to her family's restaurant. "Don’t cry don’t cry don’t cry." Stefani kept repeated as she stood up in the mushy garbage.

"Are you seriously crying? You’re pathetic" Irina laughed and walked away with her umbrella on her shoulder. The two guys followed behind her and they became a blur as Stefani’s vision got blurred by the tears that filled her eyes.

With struggle she got out of the can, and fell helplessly onto the cold, wet floor of the alley. Her hurt ankle was hit against the metal of the garbage can, it was almost healed but now she felt the same pain that Irina has last left her in. Stefani held her ankle and cried into her knees for a minute before she got up.

She slowly limped two blocks till she reached a liquor store. "Let’s hope this works." She whispered to herself in hopes that the seller would let her buy alcohol. She went straight to the alcohol section and grabbed a bottle of wine. She walked to the cashier counter and sniffled as she took out the money to pay. Without looking up from her phone, the cashier scanned the item and stuck her hand out for the cash. Stefani felt relieved and placed the money into the open palm, grabbed the bottle and stuck it into her handbag.
