chapter 2

The first week of school was, for the first in Stefani's life, really not bad. Beside the fact that her collegues keep making fun of her, she really liked their new History teacher, Mr. Cooper. He saved her from Chris and Mike and then stepped up for her in class. No other teacher did that for her. He was special, and very handsome Stefani could say.

In this first week she thought a lot about him. Bradley was on her mind constantly and she would lie if she said that she didn't liked it. She thought about his structure. He was tall and well sculpted, he had that messy brown hair like he just woke up and his eyes...oh, his beautiful baby blue eyes.

Stop Stefani! He is your fucking teacher! she argued with herself. This whole thing was new for her. She never had a boyfriend, she's never been in love, she doesn't know why she can't get Bradley out of her head. Even just hearing his  name makes her smile. Why he has to be my teacher! This is so wrong!

For the first time ever Stefani was excited for a Monday. She hated them.
She took her books from her locker and made her way to the English class.
As she was down the hallway she felt someone catch her and and push her into the wall.

"Listen to me!" Irina hissed "If you think you're safe with Mr. Cooper you're very very wrong whore! He can't protect you every time" she laughed "Just stay away from him!Well, anyway, a man like him would never look at a loser like you"

The only thing that Irina missed is that she stopped Stefani beside the Teachers Toilets and it happened that Bradley was there. He heard everything.

"Ahm...I don't-"

"Just shut the fuck up! I don't care about  what you have to say. Just stay away if you don't want more trouble"

Bradley was speechless. Poor Stefani, he had to deal with this since the beginning. He let Irina leave so they wouldn't observe that he listened to their conversation. Irina was worse that he thought, and the fact that she is thinking that she could be with him. He shook his head and heard Stefani softly crying. His heart broke into million pieces.

Stefani left for her class and Bradley could get out. He cleared his head and went to his first class of the day.

He was looking through is books waiting for the students to enter the classroom.

"Good morning Mr. Cooper!"

He looked up and felt his heart do a flip when he saw Stefani's face. She looked like she cried but she had a small smile on her lips, making him smile too.

"Good morning Stefani! How was your weekend?"

She took a sit in the front bench "Pretty good. I went to my parents restaurant and helped them. The usual"

"Your parents own a restaurant?"

"Yes. An italian one. It's called Joanne Trattoria"

"To be honest, I miss some good italian food. Maybe I will make a visit" he smiled

"Yeah, sure" she smiled and immediately other students made their way into the classroom

The classes were done for the day so everyone begun to make their way out of school. When they got out everybody begun to run to their cars as a big storm started.

Stefani put her backpack on her head and runned to the bus station. Just as she arrived she saw the bus leaving.
Fucking perfect! Just what I needed!
She was soaked and now she needs to wait another hour for the next bus.

Bradley started his car and left the school's parking lot when he's seen Stefani into the station, she was soaked.
He knew he shouldn't do that but he couldn't leave her there.

Stefani looked up and saw a black Mercedes approaching and stopping in front of the bus station. The guy turned the window down and shouted at her. She recognized the voice immediately.

"Stefani, come on!"

Stefani took her backpack and entered the car.

"Thank you so much Mr. Cooper! Just when I arrived the bus left and-"

"Hey, it's okey! Just tell me where"

Stefani gave him the indications and they left. The drive was pretty silent until she took another look at her now wet outfit. Just was she was about to say sorry, Bradley stopped her.

"Don't worry about the water. It will dry. You okay? Do you feel cold?"

"No. I am good, thank you!" she smiled "You really saved me from another hour of waiting"

"No need to thank me. Have you had any problems today?"

"Just...just the usual"

Bradley knew about her conversation with Irina but he didn't want to push her to say anything.

"You know you can count on me, right? If anything happens you come to me and I will take care of them"

She blushed "Thank you, really! For everything until now."

He looked at her smile and he melted. She was just an angel on this world "You're very welcome Stefani"

After another 7 minutes of driving they arrived in front of Stefani's block.

"Thank you for the drive Mr. Cooper"

"My pleasure Stefani. Take care!"

Just as she was about to get out of the car Bradley stopped her.

"Hey, Stefani?"

"Yes?"

"Here...take my number"

Stefani remained silent and stunned, not knowing what to say.

"It's just...you know...I am gonna give you guys some projects and if you have questions you can ask me" he blushed.

He is so adorbale when he blushes Stefani thought "Sure Mr. Cooper. Thank you again for the ride" she smiled and got out of the car.

Bradley stood there until he saw her entering the big building. Fuck Bradley! What are you doing? He was mad at himself but he just couldn't help it. This girl was doing so much to him that he can't even react. He didn't remember when was the last time a woman made him fell this soft and happy. Just seeing her smile made his whole day. Stefani was just something else.
