Demi
I let out a breath I didn't think I was holding before sitting up from my bed, looking around my messy room. I rub my hands down my face, feeling tired and lazy. I literally was staying up last night just to talk to the people who were in charge of our tournament in Spain. I had to tell them that I had new people in the group and they reassure me that it was alright but the month is coming to an end soon so we could be in Spain very soon.
Spain.
Always wanted to go to that havana.
Barcelona, Spain is where the last tournament is being held.
A lot of Latin dancers are competing too.
The last tournament is in Spain, the first one is right here in Florida, the second is in New York, don't know when but I'm excited for it. You have to past the first two tournaments to go to Spain and compete with the bests for the prize.
I shake my head, all I could think of was dancing and music. Especially music, I can't live without it.
I sing sometimes, and really love it but my passion is dancing. Anything related to music is my love.
Moving my legs to the side of my bed, I stood up and walk to my bathroom. I did my morning routine before walking to my kitchen and making some breakfast. I notice after I finish eating some cereal that my house was a mess, if mom was here she would quickly make me start to clean.
I sigh, dumping my empty bowl in the sink as I heard my doorbell ring. Paddling my way to the door, I swung it open and was face to face with Nick.
"Nick," I breathe. "What are you doing here? And how did you where I lived?" I ask him and he smiles sheepishly, stuffing his hands in his jeans pockets.
"Um, I might've texted Bianca for your house address. I wanted to know if you wanted to hang out or something," Nick says, and I looked at him before looking behind me at my apartment. Fuck, this is a mess. He's gonna think I'm a lazy ass and can't do house chores.
"Uh," I laugh nervously. "maybe later? It's just I got a ton of shit to do now and I'm a bit busy, but we can hang out later for sure!" I say, waving my arms around frankly, trying to not get him to look inside.
He cracks a smile, his eyes glancing over me to look inside. Crap.
"Cleaning?" He asks and I sigh in defeat, nodding slightly.
"Yeah, its not like the house is gonna clean itself, you know?" I say, grimacing slightly as I could feel the shame of not cleaning up coming at me in waves.
"Well do you want some help? I could give you a hand or something." Nick suggested and I shrug my shoulders.
"Um, its a mess Nick, are you sure you wanna help out? I mean its totally fine, I can just clean up and meet you later or something along those lines." I say, laughing nervously.
He smiles at me. "I won't mind at all, and cleaning doesn't have to be boring, besides you have me to save you from complete boredom." He says and I sigh, stepping aside and opening the door wider for him. He grins at me, stepping inside and I close the door after him as he walks into the living room, whistling softly to himself.
"Nice place," He says and I walk around him.
"Yeah, that's when it's clean." I say and started to pick up my dirty clothes that was scattered around.
Grabbing a shirt, I watch from the corner of my eye as Nick takes off his jacket, sets it on a chair and walks over to my radio. He turns it on, switching radio stations and grins widely as a familiar song comes on.
