Chapter 1: First Day of Tour.

Max's P.O.V.

Chapter 1.

"Goodnight Los Angeles!" Craig yells as I throw my pick in to the crowd along with Kevin and TJ. Robert chucks his drum sticks towards the back of the crowd before we get off the stage and towards the backstage rooms to wait until our bus arrived. The first day of the tour was beyond crazy. The tour was the first one I'd done in a year and a huge deal considering it was a reunion of Escape the Fate and Falling in Reverse. The Bury The Hatchet tour was big and crazy and it was only the first day. Ayden was quick and by my side the second I was off stage. I picked him up as I walked to Emma who sat with Rose and Gaby.

Robert and I rarely talk to TJ, Kevin and him our good friends and Craig doesn't seem to mind him as much, though Robert difinetly holds the most resentment towards him. It's been three months since Kat left, a month since I picked up Ayden and rejoined Escape the Fate.

"Let's head back." Craig states as we walk trhough the hallways of the venue to the big back room.

"Turn on the TV, I want to see the performance." Brandi states as she bounce Willow in her arms. She had come on tour to help with the kids and help Robert in his endless task at punking TJ. I turn on the TV as I sit down next to Emma with Ayden on my lap, Spencer sits on the floor with Leila playing some game with their dolls. Luckily Spencer got along with Leila and Ayden and Emma got along with both Morgan and Gaby though secretly disliked Rose, along with Robert and Tia, they group had started an anti-Rose club and Brandi, Robert, Tia and even Morgan were in an anti-TJ club. They grew crazier by the day.

Six songs later we watched as Ronnie got ready to close up the show with the last song of the day.

"This next song may be familiar to any old Escape The Fate fans, we asked the guys if we could perform a song tonight and we brought a very special guest to sing it with us." Ronnie says as he walks around messing with the wire of the mic as Jacky tuns his guitar while holding his pick in his mouth.

"Our guest for tonight helped me write this song way back when we had just started out, and I absoulutely love her because she is amazing and a crazy ass, hard headed, bad ass who is very strong willed and determined. So please sing along and go crazy." Ronnie mumbles before the song starts up. As the song starts I instantly recognize the song and knew exactly who he was talking about.

"Kat." I muttered under my breath watching the TV intently as Ronnie starts to sing.

"But there is an option to die is to live in her head." Kat's voice joins in with Ronnie's as she appears on stage and the crowd goes wild as we sit in silence. Her long hair now ended at the middle of her chest and was back to it's original black color. I stood up and exited the room before making my way towards the stage area with Morgan and Robert following closely behind. The music could be heard clearly and her voice floated through the speakers sounding exactly as it had before she left. Omar stopped me from going on stage as I watched her sing with Ronnie, a smile on her face and small glint in her eyes. She was back. Katherine had came back.

"So, this goes, out to , the ones that fall in love." Kat sang as she waved at a girl in the front row.

"And to, the girl, who, that filled, my, dark." Ronnie finished up before pulling Kat to his side and whispering something to her as she nods and takes off her mic before blowing a kiss to the crowd. She kissed Jacky's cheek before walking our way.

"You guys look shocked." She states with a smirk as we stay quiet. She quirks a brow as I sigh and pull her in to a hug.

"I fucking missed you." I mutter lowly as her arms tighten around me.

"I missed you too Maxwell." She states as I hold her close. She was skinnier and paler but she was still Kat.

"Mom!" Ayden yells as we pull away.

"Hey buddy." Kat states as she bends down to his height.

"I missed you." He says as she nods.

"I know kiddo, I missed you too. How about we go out tomorrow huh?" she asks as he nods. She smiles and stands up before Robert quickly hugs her. In a matter of seconds everyone surrounds her and she's in the middle of a group hug. She sends me a look, pleading fro help as I shake my head and pull her out of the group. Everyone asked her questions though she stayed quiet not answering.

"Alright shut up!" Omar yells before he smiles at Kat.

"Nice to see you back." He states as she smiles.

"Nice to be back, and we have to get back to our oreo schedule." Kat says as he smirks and nods causing her to smile. We all walked to the back room, Kat and I walking behind the group slowly.

"Nice girl you picked." Kat states as I look her way.

"Smart, hard working, good with kids, she a package." Kat mumbles looking towards Emma.

"How'd you know?" I ask with a slight laugh.

"Twitter, crazy ass fans you have, they learn everything. She also stared at you the whole time you were with me and glances back at you every minute or so." Kat informs as I look ahead to meet eyes with Emma. I raise a brow as she blushed before turning back around causing Kat to laugh slightly.

"Does Ayden like her?" Kat asks me as I nod.

"They get along." I tell her as she smiles.

"Good." She states looking down at the kid who walked in between us holding Kat's hand tightly.

"So why'd you leave?" I ask her as she looks over at me and sighs.

"I'll tell you guys soon." She mumbles before looking at the group ahead of us who were all smiling and laughing. Robert was actually looking at TJ not glaring at him from afar or cussing him out.

"You're back for ten minutes and they all magically get along." I mumble shaking my head as Omar appears.

"Bus is out front." He tells us as we all make our way to the giant tour bus. Ronnie and Jacky stood by the bus as Kat walks up to thema and starts conversing.

"All you stuff is already inside." Omar yells walking by as we nods. Craig opens the door just as a bunch of packing peanuts fall out landing all over the floor causing Kat, Ronnie and Jacky to start laughing hysterically.

"Really?" Craig asks as they laugh louder.

"Where the fuck is my phone?" Robert asks as they enter the bus. I roll my eyes as I enter the bus to see it completly covered in packing peanuts. Over four feet tall and taking over some of the bunks and all of the seating area. And all in the first day of tour. We were in for one hell of a ride.
