Austin's POV
"Umm so what are we gonna have for lunch", I asked trying not make anything more awkward.
Alexis just looked at me. She was still shocked on what Alex said.
"Alexis", I whispered.
"Hmm", she said still looking into my eyes. God, her eyes brown like chocolate.
"What do you want for lunch", I asked again.
"Um what ever you guys want", she said standing up.
"Is there something wrong", Alex said still standing over by the hose.
"I think we're good", I said looking over at Alexis.
Alexis' POV
Over thinking this, we're just friends and always will. I'll end up marrying someone different. "Not Austin, not Austin Mahone, NOT AUSTIN CARTER MAHONE", I thought to myself.
"Let's go Olive Garden", Robert said snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Let's go in separate cars", Austin said.
"Okay, Robert, Zach, and me in my car. Then you and Alexis in yours", Alex said.
"Okay then lets go", Robert said.
Austin and I walked behind everyone. Are hands so so close to each other, we could hold hands.
"Alexis are you okay", he asked me.
"I'm fine, I guess I zoned out a little", I said. Really I didn't lie, I did zone out but I was thinking. Thinking about him.
"Promise me your okay", he said putting his pinky up. I smiled at it and grabbed it with my pinky. He smiled at our pinkies and we let go and we started walking inside.
*at olive garden*
We walked in laughing about earlier. I sat down on the chairs for waiting to be taken to your table. There was a lot of people here. It's Saturday so family is coming in town or something. I look around and I see Maddie with a new guy.
He is a football player. I think he's the quarterback, but I don't pay any attention to the football team, cheerleaders, or any sport.
I look down before she sees me. Austin walks back over and we wait for the boys to get here. Where are they anyway??
"What are you doing", Austin asked I looked up a little to see a smirk on his face.
"Hiding", I said smiling.
"From", he asked with a confused face.
"Your most favorite person in the whole world", I said.
Austin's POV
I was thinking why is she hiding from herself and then I see Maddie.
"Oh, I see. We can leave", I said.
"No boy I'm hungry", she said with some sass but it was a cute sass
Then the waiting thing started buzzing. I saw a smile go across Alexis face.
"Let's go eat some food", she said. "But are the guys, did they stop at the zoo or something", she said with a small giggle.
"I'll text them", I said taking my phone out of my pocket.

A: WHERE ARE YOU GUYS??

A: but I don't know
R: calm down ameezy we just thought you guys need time to yourselves
Z: yeah
A: what am I suppose to tell Alexis
R: um our parents called and said we had to do something at home
A: fine, talk to you guys later
Z: good luck on that first date
