Chapter 31
*skipping to Christmas Eve*
Alexis' POV
I woke up Austin sleeping in my bed. My mom let him stay the night. Last night I left him sleeping on the floor I guess he decided to get comfy on my bed.
"Morning", he said with his eyes closed smiling and a bare chest. Which a stared at for a sec because you know who wouldn't.
"Hi", I said sitting up.
"What are we gonna do today", he asked.
"Um I don't care", I said.
"We could go to my house and you can meet Mema and my Granddad", he said.
"I would love to meet your family", I said.
"Oh and my Aunt will be there too", he said.
"Well I'm very excited", I said messing with his hair. I got up and walked to my closet to grab some clothes.
"I'll be in the bathroom", I said and walked out of my room and down the hall.
I put on a red sweater, black and white tribal print leggings, a necklace my mom got me a really long time ago that was a bow, and earrings. I walked out and heard someone singing. As I got closer to my room I could tell it was Austin.
He was singing 'Love Story', by Taylor Swift. I pulled out my phone a opened my door a little bit to video tape him singing. When he was done I stopped the video and walked in like I didn't hear anything.
"You can get changed now", I said as I sat down on my bed.
"Okay, I will", he said smiling at me and getting up and walking out of the room.
Austin's POV
When I was in the bathroom I called Alex.
*Convo*
(A: Austin)
(X:Alex)
X: hey Austin
A: hey
X: are you excited for tomorrow
A: I'm nervous I'm scared she's not gonna like it
X: Come on, she'll love it. I've talked to Sarah and she can't stop talking about how excited she is about spending Christmas with you
A: she's just saying that
X: Sarah said that she said she was so lucky she found you again
A: what ever I gotta go bye
X: bye
I got dressed an walked back to her room.
"You ready", I asked.
"Yes let's go meet the fam", she said rushing past me. I laughed a little and followed behind her.
We walked across the lawn over to my house where I see my aunts car and granddad car in the driveway. I walked up to the front door and opened it.
Then I see my Aunt running up to me and hugged me. Next was Mema and granddad.
"Guys this is my wonderful friend, Alexis", I said pointing over at Alexis standing awkwardly over by the door.
"Oh, sweetie your beautiful", my Aunt Lisa said taking her hands.
"Thanks", she said automatically smiling.
"Keep her", my granddad said as Mema and Aunt Lisa talked to her.
"I'm not letting her go", I said back to him.
