Firebrand sat on the creaky couch in the motel room. He tilted his head back and yawned, opening his eyes to see the smaller eldritch being, grinning. The god's pencil thin grin appeared. "Hello, Observer." Firebrand didn't bother to look at Observer. "Good evening." His tone was the same, sassy and smart, like he knew EVERYTHING. Firebrand sat up and rested his hands in his lap, a grin spread across his face. "Do you need something?" The entity moved behind him. "I just missed you, stupid. The black rook's smile appeared as he went to kiss the other, receiving only some fabric in his path. The white king was now on the other side of the couch. The eldritch being turned and wrinkled his nose, glaring. "Calling me 'stupid' wasn't very nice of you. Would you mind saying sorry, Observer?" Firebrand gave a small chuckle, kicking his feet up on the couch. The smaller one of the two gave a huff, sitting down on the arm of the couch. "I'm sorry for calling you stupid,," His voice was tense, annoyance dripping from his lips. "Now you can kiss me." He climbed up to Firebrand's lap and gave him a kiss, the one who smelled of campfire held it. His lips were chapped and cracked, the Observer's soft and plump. He placed his hands around his waist as the smaller entity pulled back, staring into his pinhole like eyes. "I love you." The Firebrand smiled, "I love you t-"
"Take off your sweater."
"Excuse me."
"Please?"The firebrand thought he was going to get something from this, taking his sweater off. The Observer took it, putting it on. "Thank you." The former collective member gave a slight sigh and hugged his partner, kissing his forehead.
